After World War I, industry declined in Sartell but renewed growth came during Prohibition period when many businesses opened for alcohol sales including Harry's Bar & Grill which still stands today. In 1970, residents voted to change their name back to Sartell after voting overwhelmingly in an election that saw all five incumbents win re-election unopposed. Today, much of what made Sartill so valuable has been lost or destroyed over time such as most of its original buildings save for one structure which still remains: Harry's Bar & Grill which still operates today serving up classic American pub food since 1971

By 1870, there were about 20 residents living in Sartell. By 1881, there were only 10 residents and the community had no school or other public resources. But despite these challenges, Sartell quickly developed into an important center for commerce and industry in northeastern Minnesota. In 1907, the first railroad was built through Sartell and it became an important transportation hub for businesses and people throughout the region. In addition to their economic activities, some early settlers also created schools that helped educate local children. Today, Sartell remains a vibrant community with strong ties to its history and neighbors
