In baseball history, Rosemount has produced two players who have reached professional levels—Lew Burnett (1911), who played for the St Louis Browns (now Cleveland Indians) and Boston Red Sox (now Milwaukee Brewers), and Tony Perez (2002). Burnett played his entire career with the Browns before moving on to play for several teams over three seasons with Baltimore Orioles (1915-1917), Cincinnati Reds (1920-1921), and Philadelphia Athletics (1925). Perez played parts of four seasons with Philadelphia before playing for Triple-A Las Vegas Stars during 2001 season
