Red Dot Sight History The first sights seen by pioneers in Plymouth were prairies and forests. In 1854, Danish immigrants settled in what is now Plymouth,MN. They brought with them their love of hunting so they soon developed a successful red dot sight business. This business allowed them to purchase land and start building homes. From these beginnings, Plymouth quickly became known as the "Green City". Over time, other businesses followed suit and the population grew rapidly. By 1907, the population had reached 100,000 people! Today, Plymouth remains one of America's most vibrant cities with a rich history that can be enjoyed today by visitors from all over the world.

Plymouth is a town in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 1,868 at the 2010 census. Plymouth is located on the Mississippi River and is part of the Minneapolis–St. Paul metropolitan area. The first permanent settler in Plymouth was John Quincy Adams who arrived in 1836. A post office called Plymouth was established in 1837, and remained open until it was discontinued in 1907. The name "Plymouth" was given to the town by Colonel John Prentice because of his discovery of a large body of salt water near the present day intersection of Cedar and Dodge Streets. This influx of settlers increased when the railroad reached Plymouth in 1851; passenger cars stopped at every house for passengers to load up their supplies and then took them to Superior, Wisconsin where they disembarked and continued their journey northward. The first school was built on what is now Main Street in 1857; it became an academy in 1865 and closed its doors in 1971. In 1898, a new school building with a gymnasium replaced the original schoolhouse which had been destroyed by fire two years earlier. The current school building opened its doors on October 20th, 1998 after being rebuilt from scratch using state-of-the-art construction techniques and materials only available from that year forward. A post office called Plymouth existed from 1840 until 1907; it was abandoned due to lack of mail service from Rochester,Minnesota so no letters were ever sent there during that time frame! In 1911 a Baptist church also opened up serving as both a Congregationalist and Lutheran Church before being converted into an American Legion Post Office which still offers services today! In 1922 another Baptist church also join forces with this one becoming known as First Presbyterian Church before finally closing its doors due to lack of members or donations some twenty years later! In 2004 another Baptist church opens up serving as both an Evangelical Lutheran church & Pentecostal Assembly Hall before finally closing its doors again not long after! Today there are just three churches left living within Plymouth limits: Second Presbyterian (closed 2013), Methodist (closed 2014) & United Methodist (closed 2015). It should be noted though that all these churches have since been re-opened multiple times with varying degrees of success! Today we enjoy some great things like our very own Farmers Market which takes place every Saturday morning starting at 9am sharp inside ourformer post office plaza downtown followed by local artists giving demonstrations/selling their work throughout Friday evening until late night(excepting bank holidays)! Our well endowed library provides more than enough opportunity for us to engage with our community through books, movies etc... We're blessed here folks!

Plymouth is a city in the U.S. state of Minnesota, and the county seat of Plymouth County. The population was 9,512 at the 2010 census. The city is located on the Mississippi River, bordered by Saint Marys County to the east and west, Mankato to the north, and Hastings to the south. Plymouth was founded in 1854 as a way station on the journey from Chicago to St Paul. In 1885, Plymouth became a town when it merged with neighboring townships. The town hall and other buildings were moved to Plymouth from Mankato in 1907 because of its location on an important Iowa-Minnesota trade route (the Great Northern Railway). The first post office opened in Plymouth on November 1, 1854; it was renamed Waterville in 1865 due to increased mail traffic through that community. Waterville changed its name again in 1886 when it merged with nearby townships for racial reasons (the Minneapolis Daily Tribune called Waterville "a nigger's paradise"). Plymouth's role as a stopping place for travelers helped make it one of America's early cotton ports; between 1860 and 1870, more than 2 million pounds (1 ton) of cotton were shipped through Plymouthport alone. In 1916, First National Bank building replaced what had been an old Methodist church as the first major structure built in Plymouth during its incorporation as a town. The bank remainedaple institution until 1984 when it closed due to financial problems. The first professional basketball team based in America played their home games at Armory Park until 1924; they relocated back to Boston before playing their final game there that season under new ownership. Pioneer High School served as both school and arena for many years before being demolished in 2006 following budget constraints within municipal government caused by suburbanization throughout much of Twin Cities metropolitan area since then high schools have been all but abandoned or converted into apartment/condominium buildings outside urban cores like Minneapolis/St Paul areas - yet this history does not stop local historians from compiling exhibits about this time period about American pro basketball which can be found at various libraries across Twin Cities metro areas such as Target Field where Pro Basketball Hall of Fame members currently play baseball
