Plymouth is a city in Plymouth County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 7,521 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Plymouth County. The city is located on the western edge of the Minneapolis–St. Paul metropolitan area and its boundaries are just east of Maplewood and west of Bloomington.
