In 1915, a sawmill opened at the site ofpresent-day Ottsego City and soon became one of the most important employers in town. The mill closed its doors for good in 1976; however, it has been revived several times over the years as a tourist attraction. Today, much of the fabric used to make clothing here came from China during World War II; however, there are some remnants remaining of those days too!
