In 1853, the Minnesota Territorial Legislature created a new county in southeastern Ramsey County, called Ramsey County. In 1903, the first gas line to be built in rural Ramsey County was completed when an operator named Jenssen connected residents of Arden Hills with Maplewood on the east side oftown. Oakdale is a small town in the United States of America. It is located in Wright County, Minnesota. The population was 1,559 at the 2010 census. Oakdale was founded in 1859 by German settlers. The first post office was established in 1862. In 1876, Oakdale became a city. In 1916, it merged with neighboring Hutchinson to form Hutchison City. In 1990, Hutchison City and Oakdale separate again and Hutchison City remains an unincorporated community within Wright County. The history of Oakdale begins with the arrival of Germans in 1859. They were followed by Scandinavian immigrants in 1860 and Irish immigrants in 1861-1862. By 1865, all these groups had joined together to establish the town of Oakdale as its official name - an event that marked the begining of what would be a long history for this small townspeople - especially given its location within one of America's most populous counties (Wright County). In 1863-1864, two brothers named John and Jacob Schmidt built a log cabin on what is now Main Street in present day Oakdale - just northwest of where it currently stands on First Avenue - becoming the first permanent residents of the town site (along with their brother Gottlieb Schmidt). Over time, other families also began settling into what would become known as "the village" or "the Landing". The Village Movement started out as a way for farmers to get closer to markets through transportation links rather than having to drive miles away each week; moreover, it allowed them more efficient use of land which helped increase yields while reducing input costs (and thus profits). Eventually trade connections between villages grew so strong that goods started being transported back and forth both ways without ever having to leave any villages! This led eventually to improvements on both sides – including better road infrastructure – making cross country travel much less expensive for farmers and merchants alike and stimulating growth throughout southernMinnesota during this time period which we can still see today thanks to businesses such as FedEx & UPS! Direct mounting methods involve using one screw perscope mount attaching the optic directly to the barrel while indirect mounting methods involve using a platform that can be attached to either the front or rear sight post on the firearm. The origins of scope mounts go back many years ago when shooters needed more range with their firearms and needed something more stable than just balancing rifles on stands or clamps. One such solution was devised by John Sellers who invented a design called a "V-Mount." This consisted of two parts: an adjustable armature that allowed users to fine tune adjustment for both elevation and windage, and a horizontally mounted camera which could take pictures at various angles for use as part of an aiming reticle. In 1971, Iver Johnson developed what became known as the "Johnson Scope Mount." This mount used four screws per scope mount instead of one screw per side like traditional rifle scopes did, meaning that it could be attached in any direction possible (rear or front). Additionally, this mount featured an armature that was adjustable both vertically and horizontally so users could fine-tune their Aiming Reticles even further without having to remove their rifles from service.

The original expandable mounts were created for the M1 Garand and other bolt-action rifles. The mounts allowed the Rifleman to increase their range by adding extra rounds to their magazine. On July 1, 1912, the town of Oakdale merged with the neighboring towns of East Grand Forks and Alexandria to form a new municipality called Maplewood. On January 1, 1945, much of the area east of Highway 36 which had been within Maplewood since 1912 was annexed by Ramsey County and renamed as Oakdale. The rest of what had been part of Maplewood on the west side continued to remain as an independent municipality until 1970. On November 15, 1970, all but 2 square miles (6 km²) of Ouachita Township were transferred from Maplewood to Oakdale through annexation. This left only the city limits remaining within Ouachita Township; this change took effect on December 1st and resulted in a population increase from 375 to 467 people over that period.

The first settler in what would become Oakdale was John Dearborn on land he purchased from the Dakota Sioux in 1857. He settled down on a small farm near present-day Maplewood and started to grow crops. In 1860, Dearborn's son, George Dearborn, moved to Oakdale to help his father with the farm after having converted to Christianity at an early age. In 1870, Orville Wessels came overland from Sweden and founded a farm that would become Wessels Rapids Dam on Steele Creek south of town. For many years this dam functioned as a storage pond for wheat that was brought overland by wagonloads from Rock Valley below Stroudsburg in western Minn
