Mounds View, Minnesota is identified as one of the most optically stunning spots in the United States. After years of operation, Witherspoon sold his business to A.C.A., an American company founded by Edward Condon in 1924. During World War II, many local residents volunteered their time and effort to help fund projects such as radar installations and battleships- all without pay! One such project was providing optic equipment for military use within Mounds View itself! In 1945, a new store was built on Main Street which functioned as both a retail center and storage depot for Allied forces during World War II. After World War II ended, many families decided to move away from Minnesota after experiencing difficult economic times following wartime spending cutsbacks. However, several individuals remained behind in Mound View- including Norma Pelton who reopened her successful antique store on Main Street in 1960; Peggy Johnson who operated her beauty salon on Third Avenue between Main Street and First Street from 1966 until 1984; Bernie Weisenthal who operated his grocery store on Second Avenue between First Street and Third Street from 1975 until 1990; Marcie Weisenthal who reopened her popular restaurant/bar/café known as The Golden Horseshoe from 1998 until 2006;and Karen Weisenthal- now owner/operator of The Watermill Hotel - who operates her hotel’s cafés since 2007 (see photo). This period represented a transformational shift for optometry because it heralded the beginning of modern era retailing efforts through physical storefronts rather than online purchase methods like eBay or Amazon Web Services! Some interesting products available during this time include contact lenses made out of recycled glassware (see photo), artificial human eyes created using silicone rubber implants (see photo), automated corneal surgery (see photo), contact lens frames made out of heavy duty aluminum foil instead of plastic materials (see photos), eyeglasses frames using advanced 3D printing technology (photos below)…the list goes on! Additionally, there were numerous demonstrations held throughoutMinnesota highlighting innovative advances being made within optometry including eye exams utilizing IOL cameras which are now becoming more common among athletes or people working outdoors…the list goes on! With advancements technological changes continue to be made within optometry with increased competition among providers seeking market share – this has led to growing demand for high quality optics products across all spectrums including FPV goggles or drones etc….it can be no wonder that Optical Supplier News magazine recently named Mumpsview “America’s Top Optical Town”!!!

In 1897, Mounds View was founded as a small community of farmers and ranchers in what is now Ramsey County, Minnesota. The town became an important center for the production of cheese and other dairy products. In 1925, Mounds View constructed its first optical store. The store was designed by architect William H. Smith and opened on July 1, 1925. At that time, the town had a population of about 100 people. Today, Mounds View is a thriving community with a population over 350 residents. Mounds View, Minnesota is a town in Ramsey County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 1,814 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. The Mounds View community began as a trading post on the east side of the Mississippi River in 1855 and soon became an important center for agricultural production in central Minnesota. In 1916, Mounds View was merged with neighboring Eden to form what is now called Maple Grove.

These new townships were merged into Moundview Township on January 1, 1909. Moundview is home to one of the few remaining pioneer churches from that period inMinnesota history - The First Presbyterian Church which was built in 1853 and dedicated on November 3rd following the death of Reverend Samuel Kirkland who served as pastor from 1828-1860 also has a museum open to the public called "Pioneer Village".
