This property includes much of what remains today of Monticello's Main Street and most notably include an impressive 4-story model house built by Roy Jenson & Associates Architects which still stands today within walking distance of all local businesses including LaFleur's bakery, Dairy Queen, and Bill’s Pizza! One interesting tidbit about Monticello is that not only did numerous famous people live here such as Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865), Franklin D Roosevelt (1908-1945), Neil Armstrong (1922-2010), etc., but also milk products were produced here starting back in 1892!
