After 1903 there was a big boom in Airgun production due to advances in technology and improvements in ammunition design- which has continued up until present day.

Minneapolis, Minnesota is a city in the U.S. state of Minnesota and the county seat of Hennepin County. The population was 1,587 at the 2010 census, making it the eighth-largest city in Minnesota and one of the most populous in its rural surrounding counties. Minneapolis was founded on April 14, 1853 by James K. Polk and his family as a small town on an arm of Lake Superior called Iron Range (now Lyndale). After decades of decline during the late 20th century due to suburbanization and other factors (such as freeway construction), downtown Minneapolis regained some popularity during the 21st century through initiatives such as new business development around First Avenue NE and plans to increase pedestrian walkability within core buildings along Nicollet Mall NW
In 1881, the first Minneapolis post office was established. In 1922, the city became a state of Minnesota and in 1945, it became an independent city. The area now known as Minneapolis was settled by Native Americans in the region that includes present-day Minneapolis and St. Paul. The first European to settle in what is now Minneapolis was French trader Pierre L'Enfant. In 1824, he founded the City of Saint Anthony on Rice Lake, which served as a trading center for fur traders and settlers from Canada and America. After Saint Anthony's death in 1827, various settlements were established around what is today downtown Minneapolis including West Grandview Heights (now part of Bloomington), Hennepin County Park (now Nicollet County), and Maple Grove (now parts of Burnsville). Some early settlers brought their own churches and schools with them when they arrived in what is now central Minneapolis. On January 1, 1857, Minnesota Territory was created consisting of all present-day Minnesota except for Dakota Territory which had been organized earlier that year. On May 3, 1861, Ramsey County was organized from portions of Hennepin County and Nicollet County making it the first county subdivision in Minnesota. The north side of Interstate 20 linking Downtown Minneapolis with St Paul has been named "Ramsey Avenue" since 1961 while south side Interstate 10 has been called "Hennepin Avenue".
