In 1961, the company changed its name to Waco Arms Corporation. In 1984, Waco Arms Corporation merged with Remington Firearms fame to form Remington Rand corporation. At this point in time, Remington Rand corporation was the largest firearms manufacturer in North America and had production plants in many different countries including Canada, Europe, and Asia.
