Swivels were first patented in 1881 by George H. Hutchinson and James W. Cook. The first swivel gun was made by the brothers Samuel and Alonzo Winchester, who patented their design in 1892. The Winchester brothers are considered to be the fathers of the modern shotgun. They developed a new type of shotgun that used a revolving barrel called an express arm or express action shotgun. This shotgun was later renamed the Winchesters Model 7 in 1903 after John Flanders, one of the company’s founders. Gun swivels have been used since at least 1881 when George H. Maple Grove is a small town in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The population was 1,715 at the 2010 census, down from 1,827 at the 2000 census. The first settlers to Maple Grove were farmers who arrived in 1855. By 1871, maple syrup had become an important commodity in the town and it was renamed Maple Grove after John A. MacArthur, then head of the post office and one of its founders. In 1896, maple syrup production began to increase due to climate change and improved technology; as a result, Maple Grove became known as America's leading producing town for maple sugar cane up until around World War II when sugar production decreased because of wartime rationing.. In 1902, there were only 190 people living in Maple Grove; by 1910 that number had increased to over 1,000 individuals due to various factors such as development of new industries and immigration from Europe.. By 1920s however crime rates were high which made it difficult for residents to maintain their homes or businesses.. At that point Mayor Clarence Wohlner decided not to renew his lease on his original city hall building after 20 years because he felt it needed more renovation than replacement.. In 1925 Wohlner built a new building which still stands today as the main library building within town limits – this structure served as both library headquarters during its early years and also home to many other municipal offices including courtrooms and police stations throughout its history.– Hazelwood United Methodist Church was established in 1924 by Reverend Simeon Livengood with financial support from Madame Blanche de Rothschild – at that time Maple Grove had no Catholic church . In addition to its libraries (later enlarged), civic amenities included a park with tennis courts and baseball diamonds which served as center stage for social activities through most of the 20th century; fire departments staffed with volunteer firefighters dating back to 1903; two schools: one public school serving grades K-12inderry avenue School District No 241 (now occupied by Park Ridge Academy) ; one private school named Pinecrest Academy opened in 1922 attended primarily by children attending nearby West Side High School . When First National Bank failed during 1929-30 former Mayor Clarence Wohlner donated 5 acres (20 ha) adjacent east side road now owned by Gray Line bus company so that future mayors could build additional bus stop facilities without having direct impact on traffic flow.– Finally MapleGrove boasted two major churches: Presbyterian Zion Church founded 1915 along Cedar Avenue eastside Road near present day Oldsmobile dealership operated out of an old Masonic Hall on White Street across from Memorial Stadium
