Today's economy centers around healthcare services (such as doctors' offices), retail goods such as grocery stores and convenience stores (including two gas stations), light industry (such as manufacturing operations associated with Radio Shack) and agriculture (the local farm store provides both food serviceand produce). A library has been built in downtown Maple Grove since 1978; it is now one of the largest public libraries in Minnesota.

Ammunition companies responded quickly to this new market opportunity and began manufacturing machineguns and artillery piece using these new rounds. By 1903, there were over 130 different types of cartridges available on the market! During World War II, ammunition shortages forced gunmakers to search for alternative sources for their products such as rubber sandbags and kraft paper clips in order to keep up with wartime demand. As production Authorized levels decreased below 1942 levels due to changing military needs (e.g., when armor was no longer needed), many munitions manufacturers turned towards black markets in order continue making munitions despite government restrictions on doing so during peacetime periods (e.g., during World War II). Today, there are over 1 million different types of cartridges available! cartridge types include rifle rounds (ammunition used by shotguns), pistols (firearms used by police officers), shotgun shells (shotgun pellets that are fired from a shotgun), hand grenades (grenades filled with incendiary or explosive material) and mortar rounds (rounds filled with an incendiary or explosive payload).

Maple Grove is a small town in east-central Minnesota, United States. The population was 788 at the 2010 census. Maple Grove is part of the Minneapolis–St. Paul metropolitan area. The first settlers in what is now Maple Grove were French Canadians who arrived in 1836 and named their settlement after maple trees that they saw on their trip across Canada. The name "Maple Grove" was first used on a deed to land from Maria Hennepin County to John Prentice in 1839. The Panic of 1893 created a hard time for farmers in northeastern Minnesota, and many people left Maple Grove for other parts of the state during that time period. However, some residents did remain until around 1910 when most of the buildings were destroyed by a fire caused by an oversize propane tank stored on the property. In 1925, Maple Grove became a village under the jurisdiction of Stroudsburg Township and it remained so until 1959 when it was merged into Minneapolis-St. Paul with other towns within city limits. At that time, village status was revoked and all residents within city limits moved to downtown Minneapolis or suburban Dunwoody as their new home without any option to vote on whether or not they wanted to keep their villages or be annexed into larger municipalities like Minneapolis or Stroudsburg Township. Today, Maple Grove remains primarily agricultural with a few businesses serving its citizens including gas stations and convenience stores as well as farms which produce hay, cornmeal, apples, potatoes and other vegetables
Maple Grove was founded in 1851 by John A. MacArthur and his wife, Eliza. The town grew rapidly during the early years of its existence, and in 1879 it became a city. Maple Grove was renamed Minneapolis in 1912, and it has since regained its original name.
