Lino Lakes, Minnesota is a town in the U.S. state of Minnesota and has a population of 5,522 as of the 2010 census. The name comes from an early settler named Lino Lake. In 1870, Lino Lake was one of the towns in Dakota Territory that was独立討論会 (self-government convention). The first store in Lino Lakes opened on July 26th 1870. On November 1st 1870, the first election for township board took place and George Barnes won against John Sibley with over 90% of the vote. In 1872, lumber baron Isaac Severson offered $5,000 for every wagonload of logs delivered to his mill in Superior Township; Lino Lakes saw its first load of logs on December 2nd In 1876, a new school was built in Lino Lakes by A.B Hennepin Company and it served until 1911 when it burned down. It replaced an earlier school which had been destroyed by a fire in 1868. In 1898, a new bank was built at First Street and Main Avenue by J & W Jennings – this bank still operates today as United States Banknote Printing House #2 (UPSG#2). There were also two churches Built here: Christ Lutheran Church No 1 (1890) and Swedish Reformed church No 2 (1910).On October 10th 1915 there was another major tornado outbreak affecting many different parts of America including Nebraska City and Minneapolis where damage was done to homes and businesses particularly around Third Street NW nearriggle sqft Businesses went outta business within 3 hours after EF0 touched down causing total losses amounting to $25 000 The cooperative grocery store “The Central Bakery” located at 1100 Third Street Northwest closed due to loss sustained during tornado either through direct damage or wind effects After World War II ended things changed again with organized farming becoming more prevalent throughout much of America so acreage became available for development once again so lumber mills started up again along with other agricultural production like hay raising etcetera which created more demand for housing stock especially people commuting into larger metropolitan areas . This Demand led developers to start building high rise apartments specifically geared towards commuters who could not afford downtown living any longer . This trend would continue until current day with apartment buildings sprouting up all around town center despite zoning laws prohibiting them

Today's primary industry is retail with several small businesses dotting the landscape including an ice cream parlor and a convenience store. A few larger businesses have come along since then such as JBS Supermarkets which opened up in 2001 and now employs about 150 people across five stores; Target Corporation which opened up in 2005; Best Buy Co., Inc.; Wurster Foods; Hennig & Sons Manufacturing Company; Pioneer Trucking Company; United States Steel Corporation.; Ford Motor Company ; Interstate Transit Authority passenger service through its Eden Prairie station It should be noted that although there are many small businesses throughout Lino Lake's landscape there are also a number of large companies that situate within walking distance or by bus stop ensuring variety for shoppers while remaining close to work or school activities
