Inver Grove Heights is a small town in Minnesota, located on the banks of the Mississippi River. The population was 5,816 at the 2010 census. It is part of St. Louis County and is bordered by Maplewood to the north, Ridgway to the east, Elk River to the south, and Hastings to the west. The first settler in Inver Grove Heights was John Gorham who came overland from Vermont in 1824. He built a log cabin on what is now Northwest Highway and started farming his land. The first school in Inver Grove Heights was built in 1851 by Mrs. Sarah Henniker as a school for children of farmers around her farmhouse on Southeast Boulevard. In 1870, Phebe Gorham married Jesse Christensen and they started their own farmstead on Northeast Boulevard just south of current-day Western Avenue. Jesse died in 1876 but Phebe continued to run their farm until her death in 1919. They had six children: Phebe (1877-1965), Jesse Jr., Mary Kapp (1879-1957), Vilas Christensen (1881-1954), Evalyn Christensen (1883-1964), Meta Christensen (1885-1978) and Alice Laxness ( 1886-1976). One of Inver Grove Heights' earliest businesses was The General Store which opened its doors on Center Street in 1865 with Wm Henniker as its merchant/owner/manager. Mr.Henniker later became mayor of Minneapolis after being elected as an Independent during Reconstruction period following American Civil War ending slavery up winning election against two major candidates - Grover Cleveland and Samuel Tilden - both Democrats representing Chicago's City Hall constituency at that time! He also served terms as Mayor from 1893 until 1896 when he retired due to poor health; however he still retains some honorary distinction today for his role developing Minneapolis into one of America's great cities! A post office called Inver Grove Heights has been open since 1871; it was moved from its original location near present day Northwestern Avenue & Lyndale Road to its current location southeast of downtown Minneapolis in 1902 after becoming overwhelmed by mail volume at its previous address which caused congestion along Lyndale Road! Today there are only three residences remaining within this historic district – all single family homes dating back to before World War II – all were once owned or operated by local businessmen or women who played an integral role shaping this community during that time including Nellie McGeehan who started working at her house directly across Lyndale Road from where she lived until her death aged 102 years old prior to closing down operations suddenly just weeks ago! All other buildings within this historic district have either been demolished or converted into apartments or commercial properties since then including tower blocks built adjacent uponasha Creekfront park serving as headquarters for Target Corp., First Union Bank aka “The Bank” & Mayo Clinic beginning construction just northeast of where Pine Tree Lane now intersects Washington Ave; same developers building additional high rises adjacent uponasha Creekfront park serving as HQ’s for Johnson & Johnsonmetics Inc., Wells Fargo bank, Home Depot & Macy’s among others!!!

These early guns used an open-air barrel with a paper cartridge that was fired from a stock or breech loading weapon. However, it wasn’t until 1903 that Browning developed the first practical self-loading handgun using his new type of rifle ammunition—the .22 LR bolt action pistol. In World War I, artillery troops began using airguns as primary fire support for their weapons. Soon after, military aircraft began being equipped with these same devices for suicide bombing and other aerial targets. By 1945, nearly all combat forces had adopted airguns as their primary firearm system. Airgun usage continued to grow throughout the Cold War era – even into the present day!

Inver Grove Heights was founded on November 7, 1858 by John Atherton and his wife Margaret Cady Atherton as Ingersoll Township, named for their brother-in-law, General James Ingersoll of the Union Army during the American Civil War. The first post office in Inver Grove Heights was opened on December 2, 1858. The Minneapolis & Missouri Railroad reached Inver Grove Heights in 1865 and became part of the Great Northern Railway system; this made it possible to buy land around what is now Inver Grove Heights for use as suburbia began to form in east Saint Louis County (now Metro Detroit). The first shopping center in what would become downtown Minneapolis opened there in 1951 called "Inver Grove Park". Downtown Minneapolis experienced rapid growth following World War II due to an influx of veterans and their families who had served aboard ships or overseas; these newcomers brought with them new enterprises and retail stores that developed into downtown's nucleus today. By 1970, only a small fraction of Twin Cities residents lived within one mile (1 km) of downtown Minneapolis proper; however, this distance has gradually shrunk over time as suburbanites moved into town center areas outside central Minneapolis along Interstate 55/Redondo Beach Boulevard Toll Road north of I-55 and beyond University Avenue east of Redondo Beach Boulevard onto Lyndale Avenue bordering Eagle Lake
