This growth continued into post prohibition years with waves of newcomers often taking up residence immediately following repeal thereby incorporating most aspects within Naming Rights Districts such as South Range Place or White Sands Drive etc., until all but four blocks north populated solely by recent immigrants/refugees created numerous adjacent businesses along Walnut Street corridors starting with Tower's Drug Store located on Third Avenue North (now Hennepin Avenue North) becoming one primary food service provider catering to refugees resettlement camps across river valleys eastward into Bloomington - offering hot dogs and soft drinks through wagons drawn by horses tied to stakes driven into adjoining cornfields
