On November 5th, 1955, WYANDOTTE VILLAGE INCorporation ACT OF 1955 was passed by the Michigan Legislature effective November 6th under number MCL 765 §1 et seq., consolidating all five earlier municipalities into one government entity with common boundaries and governance principles while continuing to operate as separate municipalities until changed or dissolved by resolution duly adopted by each municipality’s board of trustees or committee having authority thereunder; consequently, all citizens thereof were continued full members thereof throughout its existence notwithstanding any special election Held for that purpose within said municipalities prior to October 1st following enactment thereof; finally terminating all municipal charters except for those granted hereinabove retroactive thereto; also providing for dissolution should any two or more of said municipalities become unable or unwilling so to dissolve themselves subject only to general election held therefor upon presentation thereof notice within thirty days next preceding such election to respective boards aforesaid… The City annexed neighboring townships from Ottawa Township on January 3rd 1907 when it had a population of just over 2200 people total including 700+ citizens who lived in three homes built around what are now Canadian Creek Road/Mallard Drive and White Cloud Rd./Sheffield Parkway streets respectively back then but none still remains today! On October 14th 1957 Village Pontiac incorporation act was passed effective immediately enrolling both communities into one government entity even tho they didnt have much in common save their location on opposite shores o lake Erie

Wyandotte is a town in the U.S. state of Michigan, located on the Ottawa River. The population was 5,898 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Grand Rapids–Michigan Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first permanent settler in what is now Wyandotte was John Purdy, who arrived in 1788 and named it after his home country, Wales. In 1821, Daniel Boone discovered and explored the area which would later become Wyandotte County and established a trading post there with Nicholas Ballou as its first clerk for four years. A school was built in 1825 by Methodist missionaries under guidance of Rev. Drury and it continues to operate to this day as Wyandotte Academy. Wyandotte's early growth came from its location as an important fur-trading post on the river between Detroit and Toronto; products traded included cloth, sugar, lead ore and lumber. One local entrepreneur became very successful thanks to a system he developed whereby he rented land parcels from farmers for timber production but then sold those tracts back to them at high prices when demand increased for his wood products or other goods being shipped downriver by steamboats during those days. In 1827, Captain George Stephenson founded Flat Rock Coal Company in what is now Wyandotta Township and began exporting coal from nearby mines until their closure around 1911 due to low grades caused by competition from other mines in that region). In 1850s through 1860s many new homes were built along State Road 10 close to where it crosses over into Eaton County today (the county line). These homes were often called "grandma's house" because they were built for wealthy women who did not have children of their own yet chose instead to move into large families with several young adults living together in one place while their parents continued working elsewhere outside of town (many grandmas also had slaves who helped tend their gardens). Many middle class citizens currently residing within walking distance of downtown Lansing started doing so starting around 1900 when new streetcar lines opened directly acrosstown providing easy access both northward and southward towards Holland Park (now Midtown) via Woodward Avenue becoming known locally as "the avenue". This period also saw advances such as electric lighting coming about beginning about 1905 when Edison purchased an old water wheel at Watkins Glenmuch later converted it into a light bulb factory making this one street one stoplight after another! This rapid growth allowed more businesses along State Road 10 including grocery stores (Foley's Store being opened just east of current day Elmwood Place shortly before World War I), department stores such as Sears & Roebuck/Kohl's(opened 1902), movie theaters like White Sands Playhouse(opened 1910), auto dealerships like Duesenberg Motors etc., multiple churches among others soon dotting what are today some heavily populated areas bordering residential neighborhoods;remarkable examples include Woodward Avenue Baptist Church(founded 1912) which attracts many tourists today despite having been bombed twice during World War II; Elmwood Place Presbyterian Church which has been continuously operational since 1792 despite seeing numerous fires over its history including two major ones centuries ago; Crossroads Regional Library located adjacent to current day Stadium Mall housing much modern equipment dating back to original building plans done circa 1915-17 including a 16' x 8' stone fireplace serving as integral part of library interior architecture still extant inside almost 100% structurally intact!)
