Gun magazines have a long and colorful history in Woodhaven, Michigan. The last gun magazine company to close its doors was Mag-N-Lock, Inc. in 1984. Mag-N-Lock served the community of Woodhaven for more than 30 years, manufacturing new and used magazines for handguns and rifles. The first gun magazine company to open in Michigan was J&B Gunsmithing Company in 1885. J&B’s purpose was to provide customers with quality firearms repairs and modifications. In 1888 the company became known as the Old Fort Rifle Shop, which continued to serve the community until 1953 when it closed its doors permanently due to economic decline. From 1889 through 1903, Grosse Pointe Arsenal produced Guns & Ammo Magazine which served as the primary source of ammunition for Law Enforcement agencies throughout Upper Michigan. In 1923, Eager Arms Manufacturing Company opened up shop on Main Street in downtown Woodhaven and began production of both handgun and rifle magazines. Eager Arms soon became one of the largest gun magazines producers in America with their line of Assault Rifles, Shotguns, Handguns and Revolvers products that continue today at their current location on East Huron Street in downtown Woodhaven! In 1954 when maglock closed its doors permanently due to economic decline all that remained were remnants from what once was a thriving industry here in town – many of these relics still reside within MLK Jr Park today!

A handgun’s magazine holds rounds in three groups: one group at the front of the magazine, one group at the back of the magazine, and one group in the middle. Woodhaven is a small town in the U.S. state of Michigan, located on the border of Grand Traverse County and Ingham County. The population was 1,814 at the 2010 census. The town was organized in 1871 and named for General James Wood (1790-1868), who had served as an officer in the Mexican War and as United States commander at Vera Cruz. It became a city in 1903. The city's boundaries were changed to encompass parts of neighboring Ingham County in 1957. As a result, Woodhaven lost much of its population during the postwar period, but has since regained some of its former prominence as an agricultural center and bedroom community for Grand Traverse County residents. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , all land. As of the census[3] of 2010, there were 1,814 people, 692 households, and 441 families residing in the town. The population density was . There were 753 housing units at an average density of . The racial makeup of the town was 96% White, 2% African American, 0% Native American, 0% Asian Pacific Islander, 0% from other races, and 2% from two or more races. This type of magazine was first developed in the mid-19th century by British engineers to allow officers to carry extra rounds with them on battlefields. The early magazines were made out of metal and were very heavy, but over time they became more efficient and lighter in order to be easier to carry. They also became more popular as rifles began being produced larger and more powerful than ever before. The popularity of the magazine rifle led to other forms of magazines being created, such as the carbine Magazine Rifle. This type of magazine was designed specifically for carbines, and it allowed users to carry multiple rounds with them at once without having to worry about carrying too much weight or space inside their weapon. Carbines also became increasingly popular during World War II due to their ability to fire rapid salvos from a great distance away, which helped contribute greatly to the success of that war effort. Eventually, the format for these types of magazines changed again, this time becoming known as the assault rifle magazine. This format allowed users to carry multiple rounds with them at once within reason (i.e., not enough room for additional ammunition). It also allowed users greater accuracy when firing weapons from a long distance away thanks to its increased capacity compared to previous formats. Woodhaven is a small town in the metropolitan area of Detroit, Michigan. It is bordered by Woodhaven Heights to the east, Midtown to the south and west, and Mount Pleasant to the north. The population was 11,715 at the 2000 census. The first European settlers in what is now Woodhaven were men from Holland who came overland in covered wagons in 1817-1818. They named their new land "Walden", after one of their own countrymen, Wilhelm Waldenberger. The first house built in what is now Woodhaven was a log cabin called White House on West Main Street in 1819. In 1830, a post office called "Walden" was established at this location; it continued to serve until 1840 when it was moved to its present location on Forest Avenue. In 1836, John Fenton bought 640 acres (2 km²) of land from George Fox for $5 per acre ($10 per hectare). This property became known as Fenton Township because John Fenton had two sons namedGeorge and Frederick with his first wife Anna Catharine Dyer (née Post). In 1837, he sold 1/4 mile (0.6 km) of that township's eastern border to James Pritchard for $1 per acre ($2 per hectare). Pritchard named his new tract "Fenton Township Park". In 1840, Josephine Ahern married Isaac Niles and moved into her maternal grandparents' home on School Lane which they had purchased from David Lowick about four years earlier. The following year saw the opening of Gratiot Avenue which connected Detroit with Cleveland through what is now Woodward Avenue and Casson Road; Gratiot became an important artery within the city limits during this time period. John Calkins acquired 2 additional tracts totaling 6 lots along Gratiot Avenue between Casson Road and Woodward Avenue; these tracts were known as Maplewood Prairie due to their abundance of trees growing thereabouts. Eventually these parcels would be developed into much larger homes known as Old Moorhead or Woodhaven Manor which remain standing today within the boundaries of present-day Woodhaven Township
On October 11, 1861, the town of Woodhaven was organized. The town center was built on a small hill near the current site of Midland Township. The first settler in Woodhaven was John Ladd who arrived in 1824. In 1827, James Forbes bought land in the town and set up a mill. The first post office opened in 1830. In 1836, Captain John Fenton donated land to the town for a public square. In 1839, Major General David Dixon created the township of Midland and included Woodhaven within it. In 1863, Theodore Roosevelt visited Woodhaven and recommended that its residents form a city government to improve municipal services. On November 7 of that year, residents voted in favor of incorporation as a city with mayor and council members elected by popular vote instead of term limits under which only men could serve on local boards
