Over time, this combination became known as “Dhara Rath” or “ Gun Hammer + Dhara Rath” which means “One Hundred-Arrow Gun Hammer” because each arrowhead represented 100 hammers (or claws). This combination remained common until sometime between 1700 and 1800 AD when European firearms began appearing on Indian soil. Today, even though there are many different variations of the gun hammer across cultures and time periods, one thing remains constant: its importance in human society!

Woodhaven is a city located in the U.S. state of Michigan, within Grand Rapids County. As of the 2010 census, the population was 494. The city was founded on October 1, 1868, by settlers from Ohio who had moved to what is now West Michigan to escape the Panic of 1857. The name Woodhaven was chosen because it sounded like wooded area near where they were living. The first mayor of Woodhaven was Wm Halsey and he served for one year before being replaced by John Aiken. In 1881, lumber baron Isaac Pemberton donated land to build a town park that still stands today. The park included a dam and mill which were used to produce water for local mills as well as for irrigation purposes in the surrounding area. In 1907, Woodhaven became an incorporated municipality with a population of 513 people and it has grown steadily ever since with 4 annexations over time - Huron Heights in 1957 (which resulted in the addition of neighboring Saginaw Township), Cadet Township in 1978, Midland Township in 2002 (adding much needed jobs and housingnear Grand Rapids), and finally Plainwell Township in 2007 which added much-needed housing east of townline into westward drawn rural areas south of I-96 such as Cadillac Heights/Mt Pleasant). Today, Woodhaven is home to over 12000 residents and operates 3 public schools - Cedar Crest Elementary School (grades PreK-5), Pinecrest Intermediate School (6-8), and Maple Grove Middle School (9-12) - as well as 2 private schools - Lansing High School (grades 9th through 12th) and Highland Catholic High School (age 11+) - making it one ofMichigan’s largest cities outside Detroit or Flint Comprehensive City limits! There are also numerous businesses dotting Woodward Avenue including several large banks (!), Ford Motor Company headquarters building (), Kmart (), Dunkin' Donuts ()and his namesake restaurant ('Waldorf'). Additionally there are numerous small businesses dotted throughout Downtown such as many convenience stores (), hardware stores (), restaurant chains (), gas stations ())and even some apartment complexes (). Churches also abound with denominations including Roman Catholic(), Lutheran., Methodist., Baptist., Presbyterian/, Creole African American Church®, Unitarian Universalist*, Lutheran Episcopal* & Congregational*.

The town of Woodhaven, Michigan was founded in 1871 by John H. Chilton. The town was named after the wooded area near where it was located. The first store in the town was operated by J.H. Chilton and his brother-in-law, Jacob Ransom. In 1875, the town had a population of just ten people and two stores. However, within five years, the community had grown to fifteen people and four stores with a total income of $3,000. By 1898, Woodhaven had a population of thirty-one people and six businesses with an annual income of $10,000. In 1907, John Fenton became mayor of Woodhaven and served for eight years until he was elected governor in 1912. During Fenton's time as mayor, the millinery industry began to grow in Woodhaven due to its proximity to Detroit and its skilled workers. Additionally, new housing developments were constructed throughout Woodhaven during this time which increased its population another twenty-five percent over what it had been when Fenton became mayor. Fenton's successor as governor alsoserved for eight years until he was elected president in 1932. While serving as governor, Franklin D Roosevelt approved a program that would create forty thousand jobs within America by 1942 through open enrollment at state colleges and universities which would then be filled with American citizens who were not required to serve in military or government service
Farmsteads and small businesses were the norm in Woodhaven during the 1800s. The early settlers were farmers who grew corn, beans, potatoes, and other vegetables on their acreage. By the turn of century, advances in technology allowed for larger scale production of these items. As industry evolved, so too did the way that farms operated; they became more commercialized and less residential. Businesses such as grocery stores, lumberyards, banks, and schools sprung up around town to serve residents.
