Warren, Michigan is a small town located in the heart of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The population was 5,985 at the 2010 census and it’s one of the most ethnically diverse towns in Michigan. Warren has its roots in early 19th century fur trading days when traders would travel to this area looking for wild game. Today, Warren is known for its unique architecture and history, as well as its scopes- which are some of the most popular items here. There have been many scopes made in Warren over the years, but two that stand out are the Sperry No1- an American designed scope built in 1907 and still used today- and The Schneider P6A3 rifle scope which was first produced in 1945. both scopes are part of the rare “P6A3 Centennial Collection” donated to Warren by Mr. & Mrs. Schneider themselves. One interesting note about these scopes is that they all share one common design feature- a tilting eye reliefallows you to see clearly around your target without having to squint or shift your focus too much while shooting. This makes them perfect for use with rifles such as shotguns or handguns, making them very versatile tools indeed!

The population of the city increased rapidly after it was designated as the temporary capital of the Territory of Michigan in 1861. Warren became an incorporated municipality in 1872. In 1954, it became a state town and has since grown significantly with its current population over 120,000 residents.

It is part of the Detroit metropolitan area. The first settler in Warren was George voit who arrived on July 10, 1817 from Steubenville Township, Ohio with his family. He built a cabin on what is now Main Street near where he still resides today. In 1834, Quaker John Woolridge established a grist mill on current Western Avenue which became one of the most important commercial chokepoints in the region and one of Warren's earliest businesses. In 1858, Julius Prentice founded an ammunition company that would become one of Michigan's leading firearms manufacturers for over seventy years until its acquisition by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1935. By 1860, there were 5 buildings in town - 2 churches (First Methodist and Second Presbyterian), 3 stores/banking institutions (Prentice & Co., Lockhart Bros., Wessels & Dennison), 1 hotel/motel (Warren National Hotel) and 2 schools (Warren Institute School and Grosse Pointe Academy). The growth continued through 1870 when 4 new buildings were added to town - 1 store/banking institution (Voit & Warrington), 2 restaurants/bars (Walsh's Inn and Black Jack’s Bar-B-Q), 1 movie theater (Citizen Kane) as well as 4 more homes: 2 single family residences (+2 servants) on present day Woodward Avenue north of downtown; 1 two story brick building south of downtown; 1 three story frame addition to lockhart Bros.' store just east of I-96 between Woodward Ave./Western Ave./Michigan Ave.; also known as "The Hermitage" "Today's Warren", published in 1974 by local historian Norma Jaffe shows evidence that fire destroyed much older business structures not shown on previous maps or described as being within town limits...the destruction started around 1900 when smallpox broke out among Sayre farmers living near Battle Creek thence spreading to Warren via road travel." Fire destroyed most all but original structure associated with John Voit silo located about 10 miles NE corner MI Exposition Rd due to weather conditions Oct 12 1937

Spotting scopes is a critical part of your hunting and optics gear. You need to be able to see clearly in order to make good decisions about where you will hunt, what type of optics you need, and what size scope you should buy. Here's a short overview of how spotting scopes work: -A spotting scope consists of two parts: the objective lens and the eyepiece. The objective lens captures all the light that comes into your eye while the eyepiece projects that image onto a screen or other viewing device. -There are three types of spotting scopes: reflex, Schmidt-Cassegrain, and Nagler. A Reflex sighting scope has an adjustable objective lens which allows you to change magnification while keeping the sight stabilized (this is different from an air rifle scope which uses fixed magnification). A Schmidt-Cassegrain scope has a simple objectives with multiple curved lenses instead of one large objective lens; this type can be used for both military and civilian applications. A Nagler Scope uses a new design called Nitron technology which provides superior anti-reflective coating on all its lenses in order to improve clarity even when reversed towards infinity (this also makes it difficult for mosquitoes/fleas/etc. to attach). A third category being developed right now is Ultra HD Scopes which offer up to 8K resolution!
