Cerberus then divested its interest in SIGMARUSA Holdings LLC and assumed full ownership of the company name and assets from Sigmar Gabriel AG.

Troy is a small city in the southwestern corner of Michigan, on the eastern border of Grand Traverse County. The population was 10,502 at the 2010 census. Troy is one of two cities in Grand Traverse County – the other being Battle Creek – and is also one of four cities in Sterling Heights. The city was founded by fur traders as a trading post on the Sanilac River in 1818. It became an important transportation center for goods from Upper Michigan to what is now southern Ontario and Quebec during the early 1800s. In 1827, it was renamed after General Anthony Wayne, who had fought against British forces during the War of 1812. In 1837, Troy became a town when land south of its current downtown area was granted to residents for settlement. The town grew rapidly due to its location and access to railroad lines which made it an attractive spot for manufacturing and commercial activities such as farming and lumbering. The town's first school opened in 1840. By 1860, Troy had over 1,000 residents and had formed a Board of Education which functioned as local governing body until 1879 when it became an independent municipality under state law. In 1870, Troy added its first department store – J & H Hudson Store – which quickly become established as one of the leading retail outlets in Michigan. In 1916, newly created Battle Creek annexed portions of Troy making it into one municipality with both municipalities sharing a single police force until 1959 when separate departments were re-established within each city government withBattle Creek taking over responsibility for patrol services while Troy extended authority for fire protection services Troy experienced significant economic growth during World War II due to war production activities conducted at nearby Mio Motors Company (now known as Ford Motor Co.) located on White Street between State Road 2nd Avenue and Washington Boulevard . The plant produced planes and tanks for United States military use . After World War II ended thanks to American victory through Operation Overlord , many factories closed down or switched from wartime production to peacetime operations . However ,Mio Motors continued operations unchanged until its closure by Ford in 1984 . This left behind large vacant lots across Downtown that have been used ever since as part of Grand Traverse County's revitalization program called "Downtown redevelopment."
