By 1000 AD, there was growing interest in handguns throughout Europe so firearms began becoming much more diverse including both bows and Firearms! This was an innovative pistol thatfired rounds through a barrel instead of relying on air pressure alone to fire rounds! It wasn’t until 1896 that we started manufacturing riflestocks here at Southgate Armory! Between 1856- 1896 we manufactured over 350+ different types and styles of riflestocks! Today we continue this tradition by Manufacturing our own unique style Riflestocks called American Stock Company Stockworks!!

Southgate is a small town in Michigan, United States. It is located on the southern shore of Lake Huron and lies within Wayne County. The population was 2,700 at the 2010 census, down from 3,010 at the 2000 census. The town was founded by Abraham Southgate in 1825 as an agricultural community on land that he acquired from the government of Canada. It was named for Southgate Hill, which rose near the original settlement. The first store opened in 1829 and remained open until 1953 when it closed due to financial difficulties. The only other business in operation from that time until 1952 was a post office which served as a local drop-off center for residents picking up mail sent to their homes elsewhere in Wayne County. In 1957, Southgate voters passed a referendum authorizing annexation by Wayne County and the town became part of the new county. In 1954, Southgate developed its first shopping mall which remains operational today and is one of the largest shopping malls in Michigan. The mall also features a variety of stores including Sears, JCPenney, Macy's and Kmart along with several restaurants including Chick-fil-A and Dunkin' Donuts among others. In addition to its shopping center, Southgate offers a variety of services such as civic events such as Fourth Of July fireworks displays or duck hunting tournaments both during summer months and winter months; ice cream parlors; planetarium; casino; health club; golf course; village hall; fire station/police station/ ambulatory service facility; water tower/pumpkin patch/ cemetery etc., making it one stop shop for many activities throughout the year.

Today, rifles are still being issued with rifle stocks, and they play an increasingly important role in hunting expeditions around the world.
After the American Revolution, rifle stocks became more standardized and tighter-fitting. This made it easier for militaries to stock rifles and make them more accurate. Additionally, Repeating Arms Manufacturing (RAM) began producing rifle stocks in 1866. RAM's rifles were often used by the U.S. military during World War I and World War II because of their accuracy and durability.
Southgate, Michigan is a small town in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,821 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Grand Rapids-Warren-Holland Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settler in Southgate was John Thomas who arrived in 1824 and built a cabin on the east side of what is now State Road 706. In 1830, Gideon Green and his family moved to Southgate from Decatur Township and laid out a village center on their farmstead known as "Green's Village." George Witherspoon lived near Witherspoon's Grove for many years after moving to Southgate from Stonington Township in 1836. In 1847, David Humphreys bought land at what is now State Road 563 and built a house called "The Humphreys" which he used as his office until 1860 when he sold it to Jno Haggerty who named it "Haggerty Manor". In 1865, James Kapp bought The Humphreys from Haggerty Manor and moved into it with his wife Esther Kapp until they divorced in 1868. Esther then married Matson Holmes; however, within two years of their marriage Holmes had died (of tuberculosis) leaving her stranded with their six children without support financially or emotionally. In 1870, David Humphreys' son John purchased The Humphrey's from Matson Holmes and continued the family name until 1903 when he changed it to Southgate Manufacturing Company which still exists today as one of the largest manufacturers of products related to lawn care products in North America. With its headquarters located in Southgate since 1904, Southgate Manufacturing Company has been an important economic force throughout the community’s history. In 1916, during World War I, local resident Mrs. Lillian Hope founded The Salvation Army troop camp at what is now Park Drive/State Road 706 where she housed approximately 100 soldiers for three months while they waited for transportation home across country; this event helped contribute significantly to the growth of nearby Grand Rapids as an industrial center during that time period In 1954, following enactment of Interstate 95 by Congress through bill HJRes 116 (the “Interstate 95 Act”), Route 9 became better known as “The Boulevard” while other major north-south highways such as I-75 were designated less significant routes such as US 12 / US 131 / SR 14 / SR 221 / NW 2 . At that time too much development along those routes had taken place piecemeal so there wasn't really anything resembling a street grid yet; instead each route was given its own numbered block starting with 1st Avenue westward). As traffic increased on I-95 between downtown Detroit and rural areas east of I-275 (including Southgate), efforts began to develop a single unified route connecting all these various corridors via Stadium Square/I-295 northbound/southbound with access from both streets southbound through ramps onto I-275westbound/. This designation followed similar patterns seen elsewhere on Interstates 95: First Avenue became Woodward Avenue eastward before continuing concurrently along Woodward Avenue past downtown before terminating at I-275 westward again (). One potential problem with this plan was that Stadium Square wasn't long enough—it only reached southbound State Road 563 halfway between Downtown Detroit proper and Stadium Square—so alternate exits existed at Stanley Street (just east of exit 165 off Stadium Square) and Arlington Heights Boulevard which led directly back up StadiumSquare into Detroit again (). To address this issue(s), highway engineers designed an extension called “The Great Lakes Freeway” which connected stadium square directly with Woodward Ave./I-94 northbound/southbound bypassing stadiums square entirely while also providing access from Arlington Heights Boulevard eastward through ramps onto I-94 northbound/southbound concurrent with Woodward Ave./I–94 south bound.) This freeway system finally saw completion in 1984 when all but one lane reopened on state road 563 linking stadium square directly with Woodward Ave./I‐94north Bound/)
The town of Southgate, Michigan was founded in 1836 by a group of settlers who came from the state of Ohio. The town quickly grew and became an important commercial center in the area. In 1852, Southgate was incorporated as a village. The town continued to grow and develop until it became a municipality in 1903. In 1937, Southgate achieved city status and began to grow even more rapidly. In 1954, the city annexed part of neighboring Sheffield. It reached its peak population size during the 1960s and 1970s when it had a total population of over 100,000 people. However, since then,Southgate has experienced significant decline due to economic factors. As recently as 2010, the local economy had only about 10% of its former level of activity within it.
