The first binoculars were invented by a man named Nicholas-Jacques Conte in 1795. The first ever sales of binoculars took place in 1828 to celebrate the purchase of a new rifle from Captain John D. Wilder. In 1846, George Catlin started making binoculars for sale and in 1865, he created the first telescope for magnification. By 1899, there were over 5,000 optical suppliers in the United States alone and more than 100 companies made binoculars for distribution throughout the world. Binocular production peaked in 1938 with an estimated 30 million products being produced worldwide. However, during World War II, large numbers ofbinoculars were produced to support military efforts including using night vision goggles on troops and aircraft. By 1945, however, the demand forbinoculars had decreased as technology developed alternatives such as digital eyesoresults (DVE). Today, most people enjoy using binoculars for general purpose or specific hunting or observation purposes such as bird watching or locating targets at long ranges. Binocular production has resumed with increased popularity due to advances in optics and electronics which have made it possible to produce high quality products at low costs. The University of Michigan was established in 1837 and the city incorporated as a borough in 1908. The City of Royal Oak merged with the Township of Oakland in 1959 to form one municipality.
Royal Oak is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan, and the county seat of Oakland County. The population was 48,830 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Detroit metropolitan area. The first permanent settler in Royal Oak was Nicholas de Soto in 1795. In 1814, Royal Oak was named after King George III of Great Britain who had visited that year for trade reasons and was impressed with what he saw there. The town grew rapidly due to its location on the Cuyahoga River between Cleveland and Buffalo, New York City, making it easy to get goods into marketplaces across North America. In 1825, Royal Oak became a Village form under Township Act No. 2 of 1825; it had a population of 264 people as recorded by the US Census Bureau in 1860 . The Township Act also created schools (Queen's College School and Northwestern Collegiate Institute) as well as other local services such as water supply, fire protection,and streetlights. By 1870 there were 1,500 residents living within its borders – more than one-third of whom were employed within village limits outside farming or manufacturing businesses which relied heavily on river transportation for their goods and services beyond town limits. With technological advances came increased access to information technology through postal service (the first mail service operating from RoyalOak), telephone service (later available throughout Michigan), television programming (station WXYZ began serving the community during World War II), insurance companies (Michigan Life Insurance Company opened up shop here in 1957), medical equipment rentals (Canadian West Life Insurance Company opened up shop here in 1961), home builders/masons (Wright-Patterson Brothers Teamsters Local 811 built six homes here during the late 1960s). Heading into this new century RoyalOak experienced continued growth withOHV production becoming more popular; several small businesses closed but replaced them by larger ones over time including Auto Parts store K&Nair & Tire starting out operations here in 1984; Midas Automotive located next door later becoming an auto parts retailer carrying items both large and small off-road vehicles/equipment; then coming online via eBay beginning providing customer service direct from their warehouse downtown while continuing to operate their showrooms downtown until they closed down completely in 2013 amidst declining sales levels following multiple changes within their company including layoffs/ downsizing etc.), major sporting events like the MIBA Super Bowl LI being hosted at Ford Field just east of town before moving back inside Lucas Oil Stadium afterwards; finally providing some much needed retail relief when Woodward’s closing caused significant disruption to local shopping malls throughout Southeast Michigan affecting over 400 jobs creating 100% Unemployment Rate among those impacted! It should be noted that many smaller businesses have since reopened or have taken advantage of opportunities opening up nearby such as Denny’s replacing Woodward’s close to Dearborn Center Mall which served similar demographics prior thereto during this same time period ; meanwhile suburban areas such as Farmington Hills continue to experience significant economic decline although development is ongoing elsewhere including Auburn Hills growing rapidly employing over 10K+ people within its boundaries having recently announced plans for a new major hospital adjacent thereto!

In 1912, two years after Dr. John James Audubon’s death, an American company called Sperry Brothers marketed a model of a wooden binocular that could be attached to a belt or coat hanger so that it could be worn as a handheld device. This particular type of Binocular was quickly copied by other companies and became known as the “Draco” because of its design.

Royal Oak is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan, located on the eastern fringe of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. The population was 32,493 at the 2010 census. It is one of the most populous cities in Michigan and has long been a center for heavy industry and research within its boundaries. The first European settlers in what is now Royal Oak were French Catholic missionaries who arrived in 1796 as part of a larger group led by Pontiac. They founded a small town called Saint-Lazare on land that they had acquired from the local Ojibwa tribe. The town was renamed Royal Oak after King George III granted it to them in 1807 as part of their Indian Removal Act settlement program. The first store opened in Royal Oak on November 15, 1827, by brothers John and James McNaught. It was built near what is now White Street and Grand Boulevard on land that had been donated to them by Colonel David Dixon (founder of Detroit). In 1830, McNaught sold his interest in the business to his brother-in-law John Durenberger, who operated it until 1837 when he sold it to Michael Nevin for $4,000. Nevin continued to run it until 1848 when he leased it to Nicholas Flournoy for two years before selling it back to Durenberger for $6,000 again. By this time, RoyalOak had become a major commercial center with several stores and several businesses existing side by side along White Street and Grand Boulevard—a scene still seen today adjacent to Cass Avenue between White Street and Grand Boulevard。 In 1851–52, RoyalOak became home to one of the largest breweries in America when Pabst Brewing Company moved into downtown from its original location near State Road 706 east of Detroit (). Pabst Brewery would remain at RoyalOak until 1958 when it merged with Anheuser Busch Incorporated (later Budweiser) which moved into their old brewery on Woodward Avenue north of Main Street (). During World War II, production at Pabst Brewery shifted from Flint Hills outside Detroit downriver towards Pontiac so that allDetroit Arsenal plants could be utilized during production () However due to flooding caused by Hurricane Agnes (), operations resumed at Flint Hills later that year (). After World War II ended & operations reverted back downriver., Pabst Brewery closed its doors permanently inside City limits & never reopened outside Detroit AGAIN!
