The history of tasers in Rochester, Michigan can be traced back to the early 1800s. A group of entrepreneurs founded the first electric883F taser company in 1884. The company was called the Electric Tractor Company and it manufactured electric tractors. In 1916, two brothers, George and Willis Gates, started a new taser manufacturer called General Electric Tasers. GE became one of the largest manufacturers of tasers in the world by 1925. By that time, GE had also developed an electronic device known as a stun gun or shock baton. In 1932, GE merged with American Electric Security to form American Electric Corporation (AEC). AEC continued to produce electric weapons until 1987 when it was sold to Motorola Mobility Incorporated. During World War II, America's military required specialised tools for assassination purposes such as firearms and stun guns that could not be obtained through normal channels. So GE created a division known as "TASERS" which Manufactured Weapons for Assassination under license from various government agencies worldwide including Mossad and CIA. After the war ended in 1945, most of these weapons were retired but some still remain on display at numerous sites around the world including Rancho Mirage National Monument near Palm Springs California; Fort Knox Kentucky; Arlington National Cemetery; Quantico Virginia; and Beaumont Texas among others

Rochester, Michigan is a city in the US state of Michigan and the county seat of Kent County. The population was 1,815 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Kalamazoo-Portage Metropolitan Statistical Area. Rochester is a manufacturing center that has seen significant development in recent decades in the areas of automotive, plastics and other sectors. The city was founded by Potawatomi Indians in 1796 as a trading post on the Mackinac River. The first permanent settler in what is now Rochester was Nicholas Flournoy, who arrived on July 3, 1796. He named his new settlement for General George Washington, who had helped him during the French and Indian War (1794-1795). The first store opened in downtown Rochester on December 15, 1814. In 1830, James Kapp assigned land to John Pemberton for $10 an acre - this became Pemberton Township and later Rochestown Township - making it one of the most extensive township boundaries ever established in Michigan Territory. John Davenport built Davenport Arsenal on Cannon Hill Road near what is now Main Street between 1826 and 1830; it became one of America's largest armories with 1 million rounds fired per year by 1860. A cotton gin followed at nearby Enfield Mills around 1840 before becoming one of America's leading cotton spinning companies under its founder George Eastman (1812-1887). In 1840s Buffalo Bill Cody toured northeastern Michigan including Rochester while performing "Hannibal" at Battle Creek State Park; this led to his nickname "Buffalo Bill". In 1859, American manufacturer Isaac Neeves replaced Vail Iron Works as America's leading maker of railroad carriages after Neeves developed Model T cars here starting production August 26th that year - this led to Rochester becoming known as "The Detroit Auto City". By 1870 about 60% of all locomotives used here were Model T models; although small numbers continued into World War I due to wartime shortages. Manufacturing stopped abruptly during World War II because demand from military groups overseas made large-scale production difficult; however large parts still continue to be produced here today such as transmissions for GM trucks and buses During World War II many people left town for fear they would be drafted into service; however few were actually drafted there but went off to fight elsewhere After WWII many people returned home taking their jobs with Chrysler or Ford Motors plant within town limits Starting around 1960 some developers started building housing developments which displaced much older brick buildings downtown including mills dating back hundreds if not thousands years ; these days you can see evidence of these predecessors throughout downtown

In 1801, General Anthony Wayne founded Detroit as a tool shop for war entrepreneurs seeking to make use of natural resources discovered in southern Michigan including copper and lead found near Battle Creek; this area became part of Detroit after that city's incorporation as a municipality in 1824. BothDetroit and Rochester were lost during World War II but regained their prominence following its end. While much of downtown Rochester has been rebuilt or renovated over time, parts such as Midtown have fallen victim to vandalism and delinquency which has forced some architects to design new neighborhoods specifically for young people called "The City Yards".
