Owosso is a small town in the U.S. state of Michigan, about 25 miles northeast of Ann Arbor. It is the seat of Owosso Township and lies on the east bank of the Ottawa River, within Saginaw County. The population was 1,582 at the 2010 census. The first settler in what is now Owosso was Abram Griggs in 1814; he organized a Methodist church there in 1816. It wasn't until 1830 that a post office was established, and by 1840 there were three stores and two churches in the township. In 1847, Alexander McKay built a gristmill here which continued operational until it closed in 1951; Owosso had one store and four dwellings before that time. A sawmill operated here from 1865 to 1868; it later became an electric power plant and then been used as an industrial site for foundry operations until it closed in 1984. A number of other businesses have been located here over time: women's shoe warehouse Daughters Clothing Store (now defunct), beauty salon Gilded Cage Salon & Day Spa, pet foods company Well-Fed Dog Food Company, Inc., plastics manufacturer Polycarbonate Industries Inc., restaurant chain La Casa Mexican Grill & Cantina - now defunct - and several schools including owosso High School (now known as Washtenaw Community College) and Southwestern Michigan Technical Institute/Owosso Junior High School are also located nearby. In recent years, Owosso has become home to several large businesses such as Wixom Lumber Company (a major supplier of lumber to numerous companies), Ford Motor Co.'s Wayne Assembly Plant, PPG Industries' Wayne Foundry Site #1 - now inactive - as well as energy storage firm Terra Energy Storage LLC., all located within a few blocks of each other on Main Street close to downtown Owosso village center where many local restaurants still operate today including The Old Mill Restaurant & Bakery which served lunch from 1922 to 1978 before moving into its current location across from Washtenaw Community College just east of Main Street; this building currently houses several shops including bead shop Lakeside Beads andSupplies while also serving as offices for various city departments such as planning or engineering services having since replaced its predecessor called "The Municipal Building" which actually housed City Hall prior to its move out into new facilities across First Avenue south of downtown Owosose Village Center during the late 1990s when City Hall moved from its original location next door on Third Street west side near US-42 during renovations overseen by then Mayor David Stuaton who served from 1999 through 2003 with then Councilwoman Debbie Armstrong taking office after his death effective January 1st 2004 becoming first female mayor of Owoosson Township ever elected subsequently being reelected twice more prior to her term ending December 31st 2006 having thus far left office with no children currentlyserving atop municipal government assuming duties equivalent thereto upon her retirement effective October 15th 2007

The first expandable mount was the Harris bipod, which allowed users to increase or decrease the range of their weapon by moving it up or down. The next type of mount was the CNC machined aluminum platform that could be attached to a rifle's stock using screws and nuts. In 1974, a company named Winchester Manufacturing Company developed a new mount called the Winchester Accu-matic that became widely used on firearms across the United States. This mount consisted of two plates that were screwed together and then attachable to the rifle's stock using screws and nuts. It offered increased accuracy and stability, making it an ideal solution for rifles with high-grip stocks.
Owosso is a town in Muskegon County, Michigan, United States. The population was 1,813 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Grand Rapids–Wixom–Bay City metro area. The first white person to live in Owosso Township was Augustus Owen in 1837. In 1839, the township's first school was built on the site where current-day Owosso High School is located. The town received its name from General Anthony Wayne and his band ofguiators called "Owosso" after one of their encampments near what is now downtown Owosso. In 1868, Owosso became an unincorporated community when it merged with nearby Kalamazoo Township to form Muskegon County. In 1927, Owosso became a city when it annexed portions of Bay City and Wixom. In 1981, it separated from Muskegon County and became an independent city again under the name of Owosso. On December 14th, 1986, as a result of the General Motors plant closure inMuskegon Heights being closed down due to pollution concerns that were later confirmed by research done by then-Mayor David Askey (a Democrat), all residents within municipality limits voted to secede from Muskegon County effective January 1st 1987 through annexation into Washtenaw County effective January 1st 1988; this action created what is now known as Ann Arbor Township within Washtenaw County proper. though not all residents within municipal boundaries voted for secession there remained overwhelming support throughout much of Monroe Township which surrounded Ann Arbor Township for incorporation into Washtenaw Countvry proper however only 9% or so out of total registered voters within Ann Arbor Township actually requested annexation into Washtenaw county which remains the case today
