In 1885, a group of men in New Baltimore, Michigan formed the Rifle and Pistol Club to improve their community’s gun availability. The club helped to build a gun store and range, as well as provide membership opportunities for civilians who wanted to own firearms. The club also lobbied for more laws regulating gun ownership and trade in order to keep firearms out of the hands of criminals and terrorists. In 1911, the New Baltimore Rifle and Pistol Club was renamed the New Baltimore Gun Owners Association (NBGOA). The NBGOA worked hard to keep guns available in their community by contributing to local politician campaigns. In 1977, the NBGOA merged with another organization in order to form the National Rifle Association (NRA). NRA has played an important role in promoting gun rights around the world since it was founded.

The round(s) are held into each magazine by means of clips which attach at different locations on either side of the gun's receiver; when these clips are removed, it becomes possible for reloading those Rounds into position within the magwell (the top part of a shotgun).

New Baltimore is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 21,992 at the 2010 census. It is the largest city in Saginaw County and one of the most populous cities in Southeast Michigan. New Baltimore is located on the eastern bank of the St Clair River, about 15 miles (24 km) south-southeast of downtown Detroit, and about 25 miles (40 km) northeast of Lansing. The name "New Baltimore" is derived from Anthony Wayne's donation of land to establish what became known as Township No. 5 on October 17, 1827 by Order of Marquette King George III., following his passage through that township across the river on July 4th, 1826 while leading an army under General Dearborn". The first post office in New Baltimore was established on November 12, 1830 by Jno. Fenton with Papeete as its second station; it closed on January 1st 1831 due to low postal rates at that time. The current post office was established at New Baltimore on May 3rd 1896 by order of Govt. James Winton and renamed after Mayor John Hickey who had been elected earlier that year as part of a program to promote Americanization in those areas which were still considered British colonies status quo ante . In 1907 NewBaltimore celebrated its 200th anniversary with a parade and fireworks display over the riverfront followed by a dinner at City Hall which included speeches from local dignitaries including then-Mayor Hickey himself
