The smaller the projectile weight, the lower its lethality will be. This is due to the ballistics theory which states that larger objects travel at a faster rate when they are compared to smaller objects. However, this does not always hold true for all projectiles; some projectiles such as bullets have very low weights while others such as grenades or rockets have high weights. When these different types of projectiles mix together, it results in an unpredictable mixture that can cause serious injury or death depending on how close you are relative to your target and how fast your target moves

Today, Muskegon Heights is aghost town remaining largely unoccupied except for a few residences used as emergency shelters during natural disasters.

In 1834, the Michigan Territory was organized and Muskegon Heights was founded as a part of it. In 1837, the first school in Muskegon Heights was establish. The first post office in Muskegon Heights was established in 1840. The first store inMuskegon Heights opened in 1844. In 1849, the first railroad to be built in Muskegon Heights was authorized. In 1898, the town of Muskegon Heights became a city and its name changed to Lansing Township. In 1937, the last major tornado struck Michigan andMuskegon Heights experienced some damage as a result.
