However, two years later it re-joined Shiawassee County when that township became part of Lake Huron Township.

Bullet-proof glass was invented by Henry Ford in 1914 as an improved version of shatter proof glass. It consisted of small round pieces of metal or plastic that were placed in front of the shooters face so that they could not see or shoot through them. The purpose was to protect drivers from being hit by bullets passing through the window on their way to work. Bullet-proof glass became popular after World War I because it increased safety for soldiers and civilians who were exposed to gunfire every day. However, it did not work well in cold weather because the metal pieces would melt if they got wet. After World War II, scientists found a new way to make bullet-proof glass which used heat instead of electricity to create tiny holes in the material. This method became known as “stainless steel” shooting Protection Glass (SSG). SSG is still used today for some high-end firearms such as handguns and rifles. It does not work well in cold weather though, so it is no longer used primarily for pistols or rifles. Bullet-resistant Plexiglas also became popular after World War I because it was cheaper and easier to produce than bullet-proof glass but did not have any other benefits over ordinary window glass except that it could be shot through without damage (although some people still try to shoot through Plexiglas)).
