After years of construction work, including adding trails systems for hiking and biking as well as new pond areas for fishing or swimming among others, Lincoln Park opened to the general public on April 6th, 1896 - more than 100 years ago today! Today, Lincoln Park remains one of Chicago's most popular tourist destinations with its wide variety of activities available for all ages!
