With his election as president things started changing quickly for our community outside of school days/evening hours… In less than two years our community went from being largely unknown to becoming one ofDetroit's most vibrant neighborhoods thanks entirely to Barack Obama himself! Our neighbors continue chatting online after work each evening about politics while sipping lattes on Woodward Avenue; just like back when he first came through town….and before any Starbucks existed 😉
