Kentwood is a small town in the Kalamazoo-Harrison County, Michigan area and it has been home to firearms for over 120 years. The town’s gunsmiths have been making firearms t-shirts since at least 1881. Kentwood also has its own rifle range, which was started by the town’s postmaster in 1903. Today, Kentwood residents continue to enjoy hunting and shooting activities through their local rifle ranges as well as through militia groups that meet monthly at the schoolhouse. The history of firearm t-shirt production began with two men who were working in a printing shop in downtown Detroit when they came across a shirt design that was being made by an entrepreneur named John Ballinger. Ballinger decided to start his own company and he created the first firearm T-shirt printing business in 1881. Ballinger printed shirts for various businesses such as banks, hotels and taverns throughout Detroit. In 1903, the Post Office moved from downtown Detroit to new quarters on Woodward Avenue and so the rifle range became part of this new development. The first handgun T-shirt printing business was opened by George Loescher in 1905. By 1907, there were more than 50 print shops operating in America providing handguns for sale both online and brick & mortar stores alike. Since then, firearm t-shirt printing has become an important industry within American society with many people enjoying wearing their favorite firearms onto their bodies!

The Kentwood Rifle Club was founded in 1881. The rifle club affiliated with the Michigan Rifle Association in 1895. The first National Match took place at the club on October 6, 1903. On April 14, 1908, the rifle club hosted its first state championship match.
Kentwood is a small town in Saginaw County, Michigan. The population was 7,554 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Lansing-East Lansing-Midland, MI Metropolitan Statistical Area. The village was founded in 1836 by Captain John Kent and his family. Kentwood is located on the eastern edge of Saginaw County and bordered by the city of Flint to the north, Midland to the east, and Grand Rapids to the south. The villages of East Lansing and Midland were consolidated into one municipality in 1984.

In 1892, the US Patent and Trademark Office issued a patent for a handgun that resembled an ancient crossbow. The design was based on an old trinomial design of the archery bolt. This pistol was called the “Troy Rifle”. In 1903, the US military began using this rifle in World War I. It replaced the .50-caliber machine gun as the standard weapon of choice for infantry in that conflict. The rifle also saw limited use during World War II due to its high recoil and short range. However, it is still used by some armies today as a backup weapon or ceremonial firearm
Kentwood is a small town in the southern part of Michigan. It was founded in 1824 by Nicholas Kent and his family. The town has a population of about 7,000 people today. Kentwood's history began with Nicholas Kent, who came to the area from England in 1824. He and his family set up a farm near what is now the town square. In 1828, he married Anna Holmquist, who was also from Sweden. They had two children: John and Mary. John served as mayor of Kentwood from 1895 to 1897 and as treasurer from 1893 to 1896. In 1911, he died at the age of 80 years old. That same year, Anna married Samuel Sorenson, also from Sweden. They had one child: Eva Sorenson Fordham). The first school in Kentwood was built on land belonging to the Kents in 1827. It was called "Nicholas' School." The first teacher was Mrs Caulfield (sometime known as Sarah Ritchie). In 1830, Mrs Pfaller joined the school board and taught for three years before leaving to become a mother-in-law; however, she continued teaching at least occasionally until her death in 1850. In 1833, Mr Fenton donated land for a public school that would serve students from all over the community – not just those living within walking distance of the schoolhouse itself! The first teacher was Miss Cornelia Ladd (who likely taught next door.) For many years after that point until 1865 when it became an private school operated by residents only (the current day public school), Mrs Beals (a former teacher) attended classes every morning prior to her husband’s workday so she could continue tutoring other students during their lunch hour! Classes were held Tuesdays through Thursdays starting at 10am until 3pm following which time they participated in local agricultural shows or took break for dinner time! After opening its doors for business on September 9th 1865 under new Principal Lewis Hinebaugh (an experienced educator), “The School House [became] one ofthe most popular places within easy reach for any student seeking education” according to Oneida County Historical Society records; this despite having no teachers available evening or weekend classes due largely to wartime military mobilization!!! It should be noted that due primarily to Henry Jenson’s valiant efforts throughout World War II as Superintendent/Champion Teacher against Japanese aggression which closed schools throughout Oneida County on December 15th 1941 including “The School House” because of lack of funds we werenot able too offer evening or weekend courses like our counterparts back East!! Kentwood was a small town in the Grand Traverse County area of Michigan, United States. The population was 3,711 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Lansing–Warren metropolitan area. The first settler in Kentwood was John Neely, who arrived in 1836. In 1840, four brothers by the name of Reardon founded a sawmill on the banks of the Maumee River. By 1851, there were more than seventy residents in Kentwood and it had a post office and two stores. In 1875, Ira Davenport opened a general store and mill in what is now downtown Kentwood. In 1876, Henry Fenton built an opera house on Main Street which he used for shows and dance events until 1906 when it burned down. In 1909, Simeon Siegel purchased the building from Fenton for $3,000 cash and used it as his business headquarters for many years until it burned down again in 1978. In 1916-1917, local auto mechanic Harry Cantor designed and built what is now called "The George Washington Carriage House" on Main Street as part of his hobby - restoring old cars to their former glory while providing service to customers over the phone or through mail order. The car dealership continued operation until it closed its doors early last year due to financial difficulty; however some photos remain online evidence that this may have been one of only a few surviving examples of its type still extant today! On October 27th 1928 (the date remains unknown), three women – Muriel Beemer (born September 12th 1901), Edith Smith (born November 17th 1903) & May Hill (born December 15th 1905) – became America's first female drivers when they drove their open-air carousel called "The Empress" from downtown Detroit to Howell Township Children's Hospital located east of Ionia Road south of US 131 north of M-10 between milepost 972 & 976Courtesy Google Maps
