It was acquired by Remington Arms Incorporated in 1990. In 2000, Winchester Ammunition Company merged with Remington Outdoor Co., which became one of the largest sporting goods retailers in the United States. Hornady Ammunition Company was founded in 1888 by Alfred Nobel and his brother Jacob Nobel. The company manufactures munition rounds for use with rifles and shotguns across a variety of calibers including (but not limited to) 9mm Parabellum ammo, .357 Magnum ammo, 12 gauge shotgun ammo, 5 shot frangible shotgun rounds, anti-tank round (AT4), machinegun round (M1 Garand), and small arms round (SAR).

Ionia, Michigan is a small town located in the Detroit metropolitan area. The population was 7,898 at the 2010 census. Ionia is part of the greater Ionia-Warren Township, which has a population of 14,521 as of the 2010 census. Ionia is also included within Wayne County. The history of Ionia began with three families who settled in what is now Ionia in 1833. The first post office was established in 1836 and named after John Fenton, an early settler on the west bank of the Ottawa River. By 1860, there were over two hundred residents in Ionia and it had become a village under government control from Warren Township. In 1872, Ionia became one of four townships to form Wayne County when it was organized out of parts of Oakland and Macomb Counties. In 1916, voters approved a proposition to name their new county after General George Washington Carver (1881-1945). At that time, Ionia was home to about one hundred people and had no schools or businesses other than a few stores and homes. However, growth continued into the 21st century as more people moved into suburban areas around Detroit while also developing industry such as aluminum production based in surrounding townships such as Grand Rapids and Hollandale; this led to tax revenue deficits for local governments which resulted in efforts by county officials to annex adjacent townships during various years between 2002-2010; including annexation by Warren Township due to its lack of any economic development opportunities outside its borders since becoming underserved by neighboring municipalities; ultimately leading to condemnation proceedings against Warren Township’s elected officials for failing “to take [their] oaths …to support our Constitution” under state law ratified by referendum on November 3rd 2006 which resulted in approval by vote count on December 12th 2006 giving effective status until March 1st 2009 when amendment legislation providing for annexation failed by only 2% margin necessitating another election on April 10th 2007 resulting in successful annexation bid being accepted pending final approval from state government With ratification came increased funding available through state appropriations towards consolidated city/county services within newly annexed territory including fire protection (which arrived soon after), public education (including streetlights) and infrastructure projects such as 17 miles long arterial highway connecting downtown withago Airport just east of town center via Interstates 895/275 providing easy access both northbound and southbound across rural countryside without any major intersections or stops along route making it well suited for travel economy class passengers travelling between Detroit Lakes International Airport northwestward past Farmington Hills then southwestward through Royal Oak before reaching Dearborn MI eventually terminating at an interchange with Interstate 96 northeast of Downtown serving all nearby suburbs including Bloomfield Hills northwestward concurrent with Interstate 55 east central near Dearborn Heights continuing southeast toward Troy until terminating at State Route 131 southcentral near ypsilanti

Ionia is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan and the county seat of Ionia County. The population was 16,898 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Flint-Warren-Hastings, MI Metropolitan Statistical Area. Ionia's history dates back to 1827 when it was named for Jason Ionia, a captain in the United States Army who had fought in the Mexican–American War and served as governor of Michigan Territory from 1827 to 1830. The first settler in what is now Ionia was Nicholas Weaires, who purchased land from John Saginaw in 1837. In 1840, David Dixon established an independent school district which became known as Dixonville School District #2 after him. The city took its name from Jason Ionia because he played a leading role in its early development and also because his father donated $10,000 to help buildña new courthouse and jail on State Street (now Main Street). After being reductions by other communities center around Flint during this time period due to lack of resources (due largely to Porat's tight control over education decisions), Ionia experienced a rapid growth that continue until World War II when there was significant decline with only 2 residents living in downtown by 1950 However following World War II there began a period where many businesses started up again throughout downtown with more people moving into downtown including young families starting their own businesses Ionia has seen some impressive renovations over time such as becoming one of only two cities east of Detroit that successfully renovated their buildings using green building materials Additionally, through economic development initiatives such as job training and economic revitalization projects such as increasing spending on cultural events downtown like farmers markets or art galleries have been enacted These increases have led to increased retail business along with new restaurants opening up throughout Downtown making it one of most active areas for nightlife within town limits
Ionia was founded in 1824 by John Darnall and his brother-in-law, Solomon St. Clair. Ionia became a town after Michigan's statehood in 1847. The first store was built on the present site of the city hall in 1851. In 1861 nearby Battle Creek was raised to become a city and Ionia lost its town status. The population of Ionia increased rapidly during the late 19th century, reaching 5,000 by 1910. However, during World War II Ionia's population dropped to 1,500 as all manufacturing fell away. During the post-World War II period growth resumed with the construction of new juvenile justice facilities and other public works projects; however, this trend ended around 1980 when businesses began to leave for more lucrative opportunities in neighboring townships. Today there is only one business still operating in downtown Ionia - The Antique Furniture Store which opened in 1984
