Inkster is a city in the county of Oakland, Michigan, United States. The population was 24,871 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Detroit metropolitan area. Inkster is home to both the University of Michigan and Wayne State University. In 1853, John Burt opened a store in what is now known as Inkster and began selling gunpowder and other firearms products to settlers in the area. A post office was established in Inkster on October 5, 1854, under the name of Grosse Pointe. Inkster's first school was built in 1858 on West Main Street. It served grades 1-6 until 1906 when it moved to its present location on East Spaulding Street. In 1865, an opera house calledthe Opera House became available for use by local schools and inksters parents were able to buy tickets for their childrens' performances there. The townspeople decided to name their new high school after George Washington Carver who had contributed much to education within Inkster during his lifetime (1865-1948). The School District #2 bought the building from Mr. Carver for $1,500 on November 10th, 1948 It opened its doors September 15th 1949 with over 200 students attending classes inside On February 6th 1960 an addition was made to the original high school that would become known as "The George Washington Carver High School". This addition housed a gymnasium/ auditorium/ band room/ancillary classrooms as well as a science lab which still functions today!

Inkster is a small, rural community in the eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan. With a population of only 787 as of the 2010 census, Inkster is one of the smallest communities in the United States. It lies just east of Mackinac Island and north of Marquette National Park. The community was once known for its hot springs, but now it mainly relies on agriculture for income. The first settler in Inkster was George Brown who arrived in 1827. In 1836, John Riggs bought land near what is now the town square and built a cabin he named "Riggs's Grove." By 1840, more settlers had arrived and they began to build homes and businesses around what is now Main Street. One early businessman was Jno. Hodge who operated a grocery store and wagon shop from his home on High Street until his death in 1852. The first post office was established at Inkster in 1847 by Jno. Pusey with the name "Pusey's Landing." In 1850, Edward Bliss opened a tavern called "Bliss's House" on Royal Road which became an important stop for travelers between Mackinac Island and Detroit. By 1870, there were six stores operating in Inkster with three stores being larger than 50 feet wide by 25 feet deep inside their buildings with walls up to two stories high! During World War I, many residents served in the military including Lawrence Smedley who worked on tank production at Grimsby Shipbuilding Corporation during that time period; he later wrote an autobiography about his experiences entitled “I Flew Over The Top” (1944). After World War II ended, many residents left Inkster due to economic reasons such as increased taxes or changes within the American steel industry which declined after 1945-46 when US Steel went bankruptcies across much of North America/. However, some residents did stay after becoming involved with local organizations like Stroudsburg Community Association or starting their own businesses such as Carl Delligatti who ran an ice cream parlor from his house from 1951-1965 or Lester Winton who started an inkjet printing business from his garage from 1967-1970 which would become one of Michigan's leading printers until it went out of business in 2002). Today most people living within walking distance either work or attend school outside the community center while still using farmlands for farming purposes providing food for themselves and their families along with other products sold locally including lumber yards next door selling boards used to make fences and other building materials while also having several convenience stores close by including Kwik Mart located just off Main Street next to Dunkin' Donuts - one reason why so few people live within 5 miles radius anymore!

By 1900 most shooters wore sunglasses for Protection from Sunlight (PTS) reasons only-many people felt that sunglasses interfered with seeing properly at night because they blocked out all but tiny amount(s) Of Light coming through the pupil which created an indistinct image within your field Of View which was difficult To Adjust And Use As A Sight When Shooting At Night
