Gun targets have been a part of the community in Grandville, Michigan since before the turn of the century. The first target was built by George Trosclair in 1876. It was a two-story wooden post with an iron crossbeam at one end and a board at the other. The target was set up on the front lawn of his house. The first gun range in Grandville opened in 1910. It was located on Front Street near the present day library. It consisted of a large, open field with several targets hung from tree limbs or stakes along its length. In 1922, local businessman and rifleman Harry Cramer donated land to Grandville for a new shooting range and pistol range. The new ranges were constructed on both sides of Main Street between Elm and Maple Streets. They were known as “Cramer’s Ranges” until they were redesignated as “Grand Rapids Rifle & Pistol Club Range” in 1966 when it became property of the city government. One important development at this time was that guns could now be shot indoors using revolving cylinders instead of having to be fired out into the open air like they had been for centuries prior. This change not only made gun Target Shooting more accessible to everyone but also gave people an opportunity to experience what it felt like to shoot firearms at close quarters while still enjoying some peace and quiet outside their homes! In 1999, Grand Rapids Rifle & Pistol Club relocated its operations from their original location on Main Street to their current location behind IKEA across from Victory Park Elementary School. This move allowed them to add another level of capability and excitement for members including 3-D printing capabilities so that anyone can create custom targets even if they are not experienced shooters!

Grandville is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan and the seat of Macomb County. The population was 24,811 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Detroit metropolitan area. The town was founded in 1834 by John Saginaw and his family. In 1836, Grandville became an incorporated community with a post office and two stores. The first courthouse was built in 1840, and grand opening ceremonies were held on November 10th that year. By 1845, the population had increased to 150 people, and by 1850 it had reached 400 people. In 1865, Grandville became a village with five plazas and twelve stores; it lost its status as a village when it merged with neighboring Sterling Heights to form Macomb County in 1870. In 1898, while still under territorial jurisdiction of Michigan, Grand Rapids was designated as the new seat of Macomb County after Lansing was destroyed by fire; however, since Lansing lay within Union Township (now Muskegon Heights), which also included Sterling Heights and other villages withinMacomb County limits – this designation never came into effect because no vote ever took place for or against it. When Michigan gained statehood in 1903, Grand Valley occupied all but one township withinMacomb County: Highland Park – but only because all other townships were annexed into Detroit during that time period without any vote being taken to do so (and most were re-designated as part of Detroit proper). During World War I veteran Elmer Cushing set up an airfield near what is now Grange Road/M-102 south of town on land donated by Captain George Hays Sr., who served in WWI as commanding officer of Camp Upton (later renamed Grange Air Field). After the war ended Cushing sold his airfield to United Aircraft Corporation for $1 million dollars cash plus interest; United Aircraft Corporation used Grange Air Field until 1962 when it closed down due to budget cuts caused by federal overspending during the Korean War era (it reopened again briefly in 1976 before closing again). In 1922 both buildings on Main Street between Third Avenuewest and Fourth Avenue east were burned down while homes around them were looted during an egg Vendetta drive organized by local Methodist church members led by Rev A J Ruskin denouncing large scale prostitution taking place around town; this event remains one of history's earliest acts of vandalism against businesses located near churches
