Airguns have been around for over a century, and Garden City is home to one of the most impressive airgun collections in the country. This collection of airguns include some of the most famous brands in the industry, as well as a wide variety of models and types. Garden City's airgun history began with three rifle clubs - The Riflemen, The Gunners, and The Falcons - who formed in 1892. These clubs were responsible for buying, repairing, and maintaining firearms in town. In 1912, The Riflemens became the first club to offer instruction on Airgun Shooting. From here on out, Airgun Shooting was an important part of Garden City's community life. The early years of Airgun Shooting were difficult; however, through hard work and dedication by these club members, they eventually managed to make it a successful sport. By 1920 there were already several airgun range facilities in town; however, it wasn't until 1927 that Garden City hosted its first national international air gun competition (the world's first). At this event we saw the debut of many famous brands including Remington®, Winchester®, Mossberg® & Savage® rifles. It was also at this event that John Lennon shot his first shotgun!

Garden City, Michigan is a small city located in the eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The population was 5,353 at the 2010 census. Garden City is known for its beautiful gardens and peaceful atmosphere. The community was founded in 1887 by John J. Gardiner and his wife Anna Matson Gardiner. The couple named their new town after their daughter, Garden City, New York. The city's first store opened in 1888 and the first paper mill followed in 1889. Garden City rests on a hill east of it on the Fenton River which made it an ideal location for early industry development. Today, much of the business activity occurs within walking distance of the downtown area or across from several smaller shopping malls that anchor the city center region. Today, Garden City remains a small but vibrant community with many cultural attractions and interesting history to enjoy such as its art galleries and performing arts venues as well as its variety of restaurants and shops catering to both local residents as well as visitors from all over North America who come to visit our beautiful garden city!

The history of airguns goes back to the early 1800s when pistols were first used in hunting. Airguns were then developed as a means of shooting small birds, squirrels, and other small animals. It wasn’t until the late 1800s that airguns became popular for target practice.
Garden City is a small town in the Genesee Valley of Michigan, United States. It was founded by farmers in 1847. The population was 719 at the 2010 census estimate. The first settler in Garden City was John Addison, who had land patented to him in 1847. He arrived from Connecticut with his family and began farming on what is now the east side of town. The Addisons were followed by other settlers, and by 1881, Garden City had a population of 1,200 people. In 1907, the city post office was established and named after Mayor Horace Greeley (1856-1915). Greeley served as mayor from 1917 to 1919 and 1931 to 1933. In 1915, Garden City became part of Lansing County when it was created from Lenawee County. In 1926, the county seat was moved to Clintonville and Garden City lost its status as a township. However, it regained its townships status in 1932 when it joined the larger city of Lansing. In 1950, Garden City celebrated its centennial year with an anniversary parade that included floats featuring local businesses and residents along with speeches by various dignitaries including then-Mayor Clarence O'Donnell (1920-1950). The parade route went through downtown and ended at Eden Park where there was a picnic for children sponsored by the Agricultural Society of America pavilion. In 1951, Mayor Jock Mahoney (1945-1958) declared July 4th "Garden City's Birthday" in commemoration of this event which helped make GardenCity one of North America's most prestigious cities for summer tourism destinations. After years of decline due to suburbanization within Lansing County and elsewhere within Michigan during the late 20th century; however throughout much recent history there has been growth for GardenCity as well as steady job creation across many different sectors including: education/health care; retail trade; professional services; manufacturing; agriculture/forestry/food processing

The town grew quickly and soon had a large population, but it struggled to maintain its position as a major center of industry. In the 1920s and 1930s, Garden City became an agricultural community, with many farmers expanding their operations into nearby towns. However, the decade of World War II saw a decline in the economy and residents of Garden City began to move away. After the war, Garden City began to experience growth again as a result of new development and tourism. Today, Garden City is a popular tourist destination with its rich history and beautiful architecture.
