However, over time they evolved into more than just simple night vision devices. Today, gun lights are commonly used by police officers and other law enforcement officials across the United States as part of their equipment arsenal. In fact, there is even a national organization devoted to promoting this type of device called "High Noon" which exists specifically to promote gun lights among law enforcement professionals throughout the United States.

He named it after his estate in Norfolk, England. The first settlers arrived around 1800, but it wasn't until 1824 that the village of Eastpointe proper was platted and organized as a townsite. That year, voters approved a proposal to annex part of Menominee Township and name it Eastpointe Township-Village instead of just Eastpointe Township. Eastpointe's early years were difficult because there were no roads or rails to help settlers get here from the surrounding area; they had to be waded through marshes and rivers. Despite these challenges, over time Eastpointe has become one of Michigan's most vibrant communities with some of its most impressive architecture – such as the $135 million (2005) Renaissance Center – reflecting this history and culture. Today, many residents continue their roots in Eastern Michigan by living close to home and working in nearby cities like Flint or Lansing; however, there are also many visitors who come each year for all kinds of reasons: arts & culture events at the Renaissance Center; hunting & fishing trips on Mackinac Island; or simply spending time outdoors enjoying panoramic views from downtown buildings like Oneonta Casino or George Hotel.

Eastpointe is a town in Muskegon County, Michigan, United States. The population was 2,769 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Grand Rapids–Wolverine Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settler in what would become Eastpointe was Nicholas Pesquet on May 15, 1824. He and his family erected a cabin on a bluff overlooking the mouth of the Ottawa River. Pesquet's son-in-law George Haggerty also settled in this area and arrived in 1827. The first school teacher in what would become Eastpointe was John Burchill who taught from 1829 to 1840. In 1830, he built a cabin on land he had purchased from David DeBow for $600 cash. Burchill named his cabin "East point" after his home state of Massachusetts which he had visited while living there as an unenrolled student at Harvard University. On July 8, 1831, Eastpointe became a village under the title of "East Point". It soon became known for its high quality grain crops and sturdy lumbering industries which were centered around two mills: Eastwood & Company (later called Gibson Brothers) and Niles Manufacturing Company (now known as DeVosEMAIL Corporation). In 1835, Elisha Dearborn founded Detroit Township with eastward expansion as its main goal but quickly realized that no market existed for goods produced by small farmers near the western border of Detroit Township where many competing factories were located. So Dearborn formed another township east of Detroit Township – Muskegon County – with only limited success because it lacked resources to support such an ambitious plan without access to markets or subsidies from outside sources like donations from friends or government grants like Fisk Home Loans Katrina Brownlee - email address deleted - email address deleted
Eastpointe is a city in Wayne County, Michigan, United States. The population was 41,711 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Detroit metropolitan area. The first settlement in what is now Eastpointe was made by brothers George and John Fenton on July 3, 1812. The town was named after Easton Township in Berks County, Pennsylvania. In 1814, the village of Easton was incorporated as a city by order of the Michigan Legislature. The town's name change to Eastpointe on October 17, 1911 when it became part of the new Detroit metropolitan area. In 1915, an expressway linking Detroit with southern suburbs opened and quickly became one of the most traveled routes in the country. This along with other economic development created demand for more space and homes within the rapidly growing city limits of Eastpointe. In 1956, an ordinance was passed allowing any business or organization that had been operating in downtown Detroit for two years prior to November 1 to open up shop inside newly annexed eastside blocks between Woodward Avenue and Cass Ave., creating what is today called "Downtown Eastside". On September 15, 1978 via referendum residents approved annexation into Metro Detroit from Oakland County which occurred three days later on September 17th under then Mayor Coleman Young's administration As part of this process businesses were allowed to start moving into their current locations starting on October 1st 1978 with many existing businesses relocating into DowntownEastside during that time
