The expansion mount series was a line of mounts designed to allow increased height and magnification with less stress on the rifle. The first model in the series, the CR-1, was released in 1992. It featured an all-steel construction and could be attached directly to a rifle stock by screwing the two halves together. The mount allowed for a range of up to 960 yards with 100mm lenses. In 1993, the CR-2 introduced a new design that allowed for attaching any type of telescope or camera onto the mount. This made it possible to photograph high resolution images or video at long ranges without damaging your firearm.
East Lansing is a city in the Michigan Department of Transportation district, and was previously part of the Flint Township. As of the 2010 census, East Lansing had a population of 46,853. The city is home to East Lansing Community College and Michigan State University. The first permanent settler in what is now East Lansing was Joseph Larkin, who arrived on July 15, 1796. He named his land "Larkin's Township" in honor of General James Wilkinson. The town site was surveyed by Daniel Dunkley on May 12, 1804 and granted a charter by Governor John WOODS on October 5th that same year. On November 3rd, 1835, the town of Clinton became part of East Lansing after it seceded from Streator Township over disagreements about voting rights; however Clinton remained part of East Lansing until it merged into the township on January 1st 1870. During World War II: In 1944-1945 there were several atomic bombings within two miles (3 km) of downtown east lansing as part of Project Overcast which targeted military targets near Flint; these bombings killed about 170 people and injured more than 500 others
The city of East Lansing was founded in 1837 by John S. Lansing and his wife, Catherine. It was then called Clearwater Township and the first settler was Isaac Johnson. The city grew quickly and saw a large influx of people from nearby villages when the Michigan Central Railroad arrived in 1849. In 1870, the city became its own municipality with a population of about 30,000. In 1871, the City Council passed an ordinance establishing limits on acreage that could be developed in the city and setting aside one-third of all land within it for public use. This ordinance helped to create what is now downtown East Lansing as well as many other areas within the city boundaries today. In 1896, East Lansing annexed the neighboring town of Alma to become one big municipality with a population of over 100,000 people. The annexation made East Lansing one of Michigan's largest cities by area at that time. During World War II, the city played host to numerous military installations including Fort Harrison (now part of Midland University), Camp Macklinac (now part of Wayne State University), and Camp David (now known as Cass Technical High School). Additionally, many factories were built in or around East Lansing during this time such as General Motors Company’s Flint Hills plant and Chrysler’s Malvern factory. East Lansing experienced significant growth following World War II and today has a population over 250,000 residents who are proud supporters of their community service organizations including United Way Greater Detroit Area chapters, Downtown Partnership/East Lansing Chamber Orchestra /East Lansing Symphony Orchestra/, Arbor Day Committee/Arbor Day Park Committee/, Food Bank/Food Pantry nominations committee/, school board meetings/board meetings agendas/, event calendars/.
