Dearborn is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan, on the Detroit River. The population was 1,745 at the 2010 census. That same year they also passed an ordinance establishing streetlights throughout Dearborn which were turned on for the first time on December 15th. By 1916 Dearborn had become home to over 20 businesses and 200 families enjoying open air living conditions inside their homes – something that still occurs today! On October 9th 1918 Mayor John Pendergrass sent out a distress call for help after heavy rains caused extensive flooding in downtown Dearborne Creek – only hours before Detroit's largest stock market opening! In response over 350 volunteers arrived from across Michigan to help clean up after what was thenlargest civic event in town! The ensuing days saw more than $10 million worth of damage done to buildings and infrastructure; however everyone did an incredible amountof work despite being faced with great adversity! Despite this extraordinaire feat some people beganTo worry about how much longer they could keep up with quickly growing municipal services…. In 1924 Mayor Pendergrass re-organized City government into wards with two branches each (similar to how our current system works). This system allowed him more control over his city while Still keeping municipally owned services centralized under one roof…..
