Today all but one resident living within "The Oldtimers' House" resides elsewhere within either Clinton Township or neighboring Willowbrook Township... In just under 25 years since its incorporation into Village status, Clawson has seen changes large and small - some good (such as becoming home to more than one thousand citizens) while others less so (such as losing most if not all its retail presence following closure of several local manufacturing plants during economic recession)... however nothing can take away what made this community such an important part of eastern Lansing during those early days - unique individuals who built it together!
