Cadillac, Michigan is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan and the county seat of Wayne County. The population was 1,641 at the 2010 census. Cadillac has been called "the most beautiful place on earth" by author Zane Grey, who lived there from 1922 to 1928. The city was founded in 1876 by General Motors President James Worthy Cadillac as a manufacturing center for light truck and buggy models that were being produced in other GM plants around the country. In 1918, Cadillac became an independent municipality with its own government and police force. It is known for itsAnnual International Auto Show (AISA), which takes place at the school district's main facility on Macomb Street in downtown Cadillac during October– November each year. The first car made in Cadillac was built by French-born engineer Antoine Lefebvre and his team of engineers led by Lefebvre himself. The first model sold was a two-seater horse drawn carriage model named La Crosse which cost $1,000 to produce and entered into production in 1899 under the name "L'Esquimau". Other successful models followed such as the La Marquise ($2,500) series that featured many features unique to those days including air conditioning; electric start/stop system; power windows; power doors; side window bars; novelties such as an internal oil filter (later replaced with a centrifugal filter) The automobile industry began to grow rapidly after World War I when America secured victory over Germany during World War I thanks to leadership of American president Woodrow Wilson. However, production slowed down due largely to Prohibition which ended worldwide sales of alcohol beginning on Dec 8th 1920 while cars were still being manufactured clandestinely across Europe Production resumed largely because new technologies had emerged during Prohibition such as self-contained gasoline tanks which allowed vehicles to be operated without need for fuel or lubrication - this innovation would later be developed into trucks and buses

It has been said that “the blind are not stupid.” To some, this statement may sound like an oxymoron, but it is true in a sense that the blind have access to many of the same products as those with sight. This line featured adjustable lenses that could be personalized with sunglasses or contacts to fit any individual's prescription. This design remains popular today and can be found at most optometrists' offices. In 1990, Magnavox produced the world's first digital video player with image processing capabilities for those who are visually impaired[3]. The player was available both as an add-on device for televisions and standalone units as well as software titles such as music videos and news programs that could be played from a computer screen or handheld unit while wearing compatible eyeglasses or contact lenses (later versions also had speakers). Pioneering technology in optical equipment wasn't limited to simply providing better viewing experience; instead it helped improve accessibility through technologies such as magnification, light detection/positioning (LDP), contrast enhancement, American Sign Language (ASL) decoding abilities and more.[4]

The last production models of the old Cadillac line were produced in 1996.
