The history of target holders in Allen Park, Michigan began with the establishment of the local Shooting Club in 1876. The club offered instruction in shooting and target hunting, and hosted events such as foxhunting matches and country fairs. In 1916, the club purchased land at 3505 W. Huron St., which served as their headquarters until 1951. From 1916 to 1951, the club held regular meets at this location, which attracted many shooters from throughout the area. As a result of its popularity, the club was able to purchase additional land near it in 1954 and 1961. These properties allowed for the construction of a new clubhouse and range on what is now known as Clubland Drive. During World War II,target holders played an important role in helping members of the military shoot targets from a distance while overseas. Many different types of targets were available for purchase from various suppliers, including Samuel Morse Company (later renamed United Provence). Theclub donated two sets of original Target Holder equipment to be used by soldiers stationed at Fort Worth Army Air Base during World War II; these equipment items are still on display at that base today! In 1955,the local National Rifle Association (NRA) formed an affiliation withAllen Park Shooting Club; this affiliation led to frequent NRA-sponsored meetings and tournaments at Clubland Drive. subsequently NRA programs such as trap & skeet shoots were also held there regularly. It was through NRA programming that target holders first got involved in law enforcement activities; one instance where an NRA program facilitated training on how to handle firearms when responding to calls for service became infamous within Allen Park community! Today,Target Holders remains one of Allen Park’s most popular organizations; its member dues support numerouslocal projects including police cadets’ training academies and park rangers’ safety patrols!

Targets were originally placed outdoors, but over time they became available inside houses and other buildings. In 1873, a man named Wm. Fenton created what is now known as the Fenton Shooting Company in Allen Park. This company manufactured targets of all different shapes and sizes until 1912. From 1913 to 1918, A & H Manufacturing Company manufactured targets for use at local fairs and tournaments. In 1922, the first modern Target Corporation was founded inAllen Park by George Jablonski and his brother-in-law Harry Kappelmeyer. This company produced high-quality shooting targets for both indoor and outdoor uses until it went out of business in 1984. Allen Park is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan, on the border of Wayne and Macomb counties. The population was 67,569 in 2010, making it the sixth-largest city in Michigan. It is home to Ford Motor Company's Dearborn Assembly Plant, as well as several small businesses and universities including Wayne State University and Michigan State University. The area that now includes Allen Park was first settled by French fur traders in 1795 and named after Sir William Allen of Beaumaris (now Angoulême). The land became part of the United States following its independence from Great Britain in 1807. The current urban area was formed when a group of farmers who rented land from the federal government founded what would become Ford Motor Company's Dearborn Assembly Plant in 1919. The plant soon became one of the largest employers in downtown Detroit metropolitan area,Employing more than 12,000 people at its peak during World War II. In 1957, General Motors announced plans to move its production facilities from Sterling Heights,Michigan to Allen Park for an expanded research program led by then-GM Research President Drs John Broderick and Willis Scott at their new Mack Laboratory facility adjacent to Ford's Dearborn Assembly Plant site; this project ultimately failed due to financial problems at GM while construction proceeded too quickly on a massive new campus across I-94 from Flint Hillsalling Township near Orion Lakes subdivision; however this plan did lead to establishment of nearby Wayne State University which later merged with MSU creating what is now known as "The Michigan State University System". Finally starting construction on what would eventually become North Campus Drive adjacent to ourFord River Campus were we established North Campus Drive Institute Of Technology also opening fall 2015 with over 400 students split into technical programs & Fields etc.......

It is the largest municipality in Washtenaw County by population size. Allen Park covers an area of 21 square miles (55 km2), with a population density of 5,906 people per square mile (2,394/km²). The community was named after General Joseph E. Allen, who fought in both Sackets Harbor and Tippecanoe during the American Civil War. The first settlers arrived in 1824 and founded a trading post on the Rouge River near modern-day downtown Allen Park. In 1827, they erected a log courthouse which served as their government until 1830 when they moved to what is today Elmwood Avenue east of I-75 (now Gratiot Avenue).[2] In 1834, General John Camps built him his own home on land that he purchase from Chief Pontiac[3]. Camps served as one of two commissioners for Washtenaw County from 1835 until his death in 1840. He also donated land for what is now Olivet College,[4] which opened its doors in 1840. At this time, all public education in Washtenaw County was conducted by private students or teachers living outoftown.[5] In 1865, Camps bequeathed $10 000 to build Western State Normal School,[6], which became Wayne State University less than 10 years later! The city's location made it convenient for farmers to ship goods into Detroit via water routes while also making it easy for soldiers stationed at Fort Mackinac to get supplies and reinforcements needed during the Battle of Lake Erie.[7][8][9][10] In 1902–1903, Detroit resident Harry Wirtz spearheaded efforts to develop what would become Allen Park into a thriving township town with stores and homes developments spreading throughout much of its current territory including portions adjacent to today's Old Ford Road intersection just off Gratiot Avenue NE between Van Dyke Road and Maple Street NE (modern day Woodward Avenue). By 1933 over 60% of present-dayAllen Park had been developed – more than any other township town in Michigan at that time!During World War II many factories were produced withinAllen Park such as Ford Motor Company’s Willow Run plant where over 1 million vehicles were churned out annually; Chrysler’s Flint plants; GM’s Automotive Division’s Lansing Laboratory where research took place on early production models for Cadillac; Packard Motors; Studebaker Motorsports Development Corporation whose purpose was development testing for new models pushed through preproduction line speeds up past 200 mph before being finalized for launch; Lucasfilm Ltd.'s Austin Research Center responsible for creating advanced lighting technology used on Star Wars sets...the list goes on![11][12][13][14](Please see full article)
