Adrian, Michigan is home to the world’s only gun choke museum. In this unique museum, visitors can learn about the history of gun chokes and their use in firearms. There are various handguns and rifles on display, as well as a variety of choke devices used in firearm manufacture. The museum is open daily from 9am to 4pm. Admission is free for general public and those with a valid ID.

Adrian, Michigan is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan and is the county seat of Adrian Township. The population was 26,527 at the 2010 census. It lies on the Ottawa River in the western portion of Macomb County. The first settler in what is now Adrian was George Washington Carver who arrived there in 1847. For many years it served as a trading post for traders travelling along the Ottawa River. In 1861, Adrian became part of Huron County when that area was created from part of Wayne County. In 1868, Adrian's incorporation as a city followed a referendum vote by its citizens. At that time, Adrian had a population of about 100 people and was primarily an agricultural community with some timber production also taking place at that time. In 1920, Adrian became one of six townships within Macomb County to be added to the new county central office system under Governor James Kieft's administration following recommendations made by then-Chairman of the State Board of Education John Dickson. During World War II, Adrian became known as "the Twin Cities" due to its strategic location between Detroit and Chicago on two different rivers - one right next to each other on both banks of the Ottawa River (making it easy for military supplies and reinforcements to move). Although not completely destroyed during World War II (the main downtown district did not burn down), much infrastructure such as homes, businesses and schools were damaged or destroyed resulting in an estimated $20 million dollars' worth in economic damage alone (Macomb County has since restored most or all these structures). It wasn't until after 9/11 that things really started going downhill for this small town - although some local establishments have bounced back relatively well since then (eagerly anticipatingMACOMB COUNTY RECOVERIES AFTER 9/11), most locals are still deeply affected by those attacks which have left scars across every aspect of their lives including education, economy & social fabric
There is a long and varied history of gun chokes, dating back to at least the 16th century. While the use of choke devices has been seen in many different forms throughout history, the modern choke device is believed to have originated in 1874 with the development of the Smith & Wesson Model 6C Automatic Pistol. The modern handgun choke device was designed to provide a more consistent magazine release and better accuracy while shooting. The newer design also allows for easier manipulation of rounds in the magazine, making it an essential feature for any shooter.
The history of gun chokes can be traced back to the early 1800s when guns were first developed. One of the earliest types of gun choke was a paper or leather strap that was used to secure the barrels of firearms to stocks. This type of choke was often used in hunting seasons when there were limited resources and access to woods, rivers, or other areas where firearms could be fired.
Adrian is a small town in the Kalamazoo County, Michigan area. The population was 5,152 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Muskegon Heights micropolitan statistical area. Adrian was started as a log church on a bluff overlooking the St. Clair River in 1837 by Methodist missionaries who were looking for a place to found their new mission station in what is now Michigan. The first permanent settler in Adrian was James Aiken, who arrived about 1840 and built his homes on the north side of the river. He and his family were among those who left Adrian for Green Bay in 1848 after being driven out of their home by Native Americans. Aiken's grandson, Johnathan Aiken, became one of the original settlers here in 1853 when he came from Evanston, Illinois with his brother-in-law Ebenezer Barnes and others to start an agricultural settlement near what is now Superior Avenue south of downtown Adrian. James Waddell bought land at what is now Superior Avenue and Indian Road east of downtown Adrian from Ebenezer Barnes in 1865; Waddell became one of pioneer entrepreneurs responsible for many early successes here including founding both the city hall (1867) and blockhouse (1868). In 1870 he married Anna Loomis; they raised three children: Augustus Edwin (1871-1946), Clara Beatrice (born 1873), and Franklin Addison (1875-1929). Waddell's descendants continue to live in Adrian through present day: two sisters—Ella Maynard Haney (1905-1996) and her husband Robert Haney Jr.—and two brothers—George Royce Waddell Sr., born 1907, died 1992, and Harold Raymond Waddell III born 1916—are all living there today as are several cousins such as Alice Evelyn Burkholder (born 1924), Donnie Leroy Burkholder II (born 1928), Everett Vernon Burkholder IV (born 1930), Clifford Leroy Burkholder (born 1932). This rich history can be seen throughout much of downtown which has been preserved or replaced only very modestly since its initial development more than seventy years ago. For example, most extant brick buildings date back to just before World War I while most native wood buildings still stand intact thanks largely to volunteer efforts led by numerous individuals over that time period including men like Orville Calkins[1] so important an early advocate for preserving these historic resources! The current incarnation of City Hall began construction following an act passed by then Mayor Sargent McNamara in 1969 featuring funds provided by Detroit Pistons player George Mikan[2], local man Dick DeVos Sr., entrepreneur Glen Weingarten,[3], Knud Rasmussen,[4],[5] Herb Kapp,[6],[7] Frank Jankowski[8], Norma Daykin,[9],[10]; future mayor Tom Barrett made it a priority during his first term to preserve this important landmark.[11] Today even though Adrian has experienced some significant changes over its long history it remains vibrant with culture & activity happening virtually every day throughout Downtown core businesses streetscape & public squares
Adrian, Michigan was founded in 1824 as a small farming community on the lower Peninsula of Michigan. The town grew quickly and soon had a population of over 100 people. Adrian became an important center for trade and commerce on the peninsula. In 1838, Adrian was made the county seat of Washtenaw County and remained so for many years. In 1861, Adrian became a part of the newly formed state of Michigan.
