Their kids were raised by their mother Rebecca until she died in 1792 when they turned 14 years old. It wasn't until 1840 that any permanent structures were erected within Westfield limits- this included gristmills (farming), sawmills (wood Cutting), blacksmiths shops (for making cannons), schools (for educating children) and churches (for worshipping). Most importantly though, westfeld's economy revolved around agriculture- specifically raising cattle and wheat which gave rise to many businesses such as Grocery stores/Grocery stores like Sears Roebuck & Co., Woolworths food store chain etcetera . Even though mills closed down during World War I due to lack Of raw materials however those that did continue operate produced munitions including machine guns for US military campaigns across Europe .
