The Waltham Pistol and Rifle Club was formed on November 3, 1868. The first club meeting took place in a bedroom of the home of Mrs. Sarah A. Bemis. That same year, the club purchased a shotgun from Mr. Samuel Goudreau at auction. In 1870, the pistol and rifle club acquired its own gun shop at 5 Warren Street in Waltham. The shop was open to members only and sold pistols, rifles, shotguns and other firearms. On November 8, 1872, the pistols and rifle club organized its first competitive shooting event which resulted in a victory for the club over rival organization Wellesley Riflemen’s Association by a score of 25-14. On October 1st of that year, another competition was held with results showing that Waltham Pistol Club had outgunned Wellesley Riflemen’s Association by an impressive margin of 45-29! In 1875, membership in the pistol and rifleclub reached 100 dues-paying members! The next year saw another important milestone as it became possible for riflemen to join the club! This event marked an important change as it now allowed for more serious hunting/target shooting events to be staged within our community! 1
Waltham, Massachusetts is a town in Essex County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 21,592 at the 2010 census. Waltham is part of the Boston metropolitan area. It lies on the eastern edge of Harvard University's campus. The town was first settled in 1636 by Puritan colonists from England who named it for John Waltham, 1st Viscount Weymouth (1598–1657). In 1797, Waltham became an incorporated town and in 1834 it became a city. It lost its status as a city after rescinding its charter due to lack of support from the rest of the Commonwealth. In 1980, Waltham merged with neighboring Arlington to form one municipality with a combined population of over 50,000 people. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of ; all land. It is located on both sides of Route 128 west of Boston and shares borders with Arlington to its north and west; Malden to its east; Quincy to its south; and Everett to its east and south (the towns are considered part of one large urban area). Waltham's location along I-95 makes it easily accessible from most parts of Massachusetts without ever leaving Boston proper or traveling very far out into Essex County - making it an ideal place for commuters heading into Greater Boston or beyond. Most concealment based reflex gunsights use image intensifiers/cameras which track movement so rather than needing pointing downrange like an iron sight does then you can keep your eye placed anywhere else on your firearm without penalty! Some people even find these devices quite uncomfortable as they move around a lot making them difficultggg grip onto if not worn directly under the arm where it should rest! In contrast closed-loop reflex designs require positive pointinng directionality meaning that you must line up all shot groups correctly before hitting anything other than paper targets before getting “happy” (this usually involves purchasing an expensive scoped rifle/shotgun) While closed loop designs do offer greater accuracy potential they also tend t o be more complicated therefore less popular amongst those who don’t want adjustable optics fitted directly into their firearms Digital Target Sights Digital target ironsignals are designed specifically for taking pictures or video using electronic sensors integrated into receivers for attaching directly onto rifles barrels using threadlockers or screws (usually front side). With this technology a camera mounted just above ground level provides images unto either an electronic monitor or movie projector which is then displayed onto a similar screen located behind or beneath shooter position making real time targeting possible without ever having TOOS personaL involvement! Thesereens come standard with various features such as picture magnification (+/- 20x), frame rate control (+/- 30 fps), red dot sighting system (+/- 10X magnification), day/night capability (-4/+12 degrees sky dark), touchpad operation (-3 +/-10 degrees horizontal deflection angle)and panning capabilities (+/+90 degree angular displacement). Additionally many manufacturers offer additonal mounts such as windage adjustment turrets (+/- 5 degrees increments) allowing complete customization of CTA settings allowing shooters infinite range flexibility while still maintaining absolute safety when engaging targets at close range

This video ignited controversy over water management practices in the area and raised awareness about potential water issues with other towns and cities in MA., including Quincy which also has video evidence of strange behavior from its fish populations In January 2018, Waltham announced it would be investing $10 million to create new jobs over five years through its two largest programs: "Waltham 2020" which will focus on improving public transportation options for inner-city residents and "The Town Effectiveness Program" which focuses on increasing community engagement
Waltham was founded in 1636 by Samuel Wigglesworth, an early English settler. The town grew rapidly during the 17th and 18th centuries, becoming one of the most important cities in Massachusetts. In 1795, Waltham became a state capital. In 1860, it was renamed after Representative John A. Logan of Massachusetts.
