After war ended, much of its infrastructure (like its water supply) was destroyed by fire; however, most of it has been rebuilt since then. One notable feature of this time period were several "Fenway Park" baseball games played at Fenway Park between teams from different towns within town limits; these games are now considered classic examples of American amateur sportsmanship.
