Finally, there is the "smart" or electronic cocking device which uses feedback signals from sensors inside the receiver mechanism (or inside your hand) in order to determine whether or not you've actually pulled back on the trigger all along! These devices are becoming more and more popular as they provide increased accuracy over traditional firearmsocks without any additional tools required!
