Additionally, these devices were equipped with advanced electronics capable of triggering explosives within milliseconds after discharge . In 1976 , WEC merged with AlliedGulf Corp., creating AlliedGulf International Incorporated (AGI). AGI continued development work on both tdasmalgunsandtaserweapons until 1989 when it merged withNational Military Police Firearms Division Inc..
