The use of tasers has prevented many animal fatalities including some cases where suspects had killedanimals purposely or intentionally using firearms or explosives devices before being apprehended with tasers drawn! From its inception until 2003 when it was replaced by newer model E-DTACguns, there was much discussion about safety concerns surrounding electric shocksgun usage especially given that these implements can cause death or serious injury if fired prematurely even if not directly at an animal! In 2003 however, European Union Directive 2001/46/EC[1] made specific mention of personal protection equipment (PPE) worn by employees when carrying out tasks connected with contact with animals - namely electric shocksguns - stating that employers must provide appropriate coverings for employees who handle these tools ‘at any time during work … without detriment to their health or safety'. This directive followed similar regulations set out in America two years earlier.[2] It should be noted that whilst this directive Egyptian law does not explicitly require employer coverage for electric shocksguns per se,[3], employers may face criminal prosecution under section 154(1)(a) thereof should they fail to provide coverings deemed necessary for workers' safety
