With this pistol, Reverend Key became one of only a few people ever able to legally own a sidearm with full metal jacket ammunition! After purchasing this pistol from Reverend Key, key began using it regularly within the community services that he provided throughout Haverhill! This event marks not only Rev’s first successful weapon purchase but also its continued use into our current day!

A lighthouse was built in 1814 at what is now Townsend Street wharf to help navigation during wartime; it burned down in 1816 but was replaced by a more recent structure in 1865 In later years many residents bought into woolen manufacturing; these days much of the town's economy revolves around healthcare services and retail sales related to natural resources such as oil shale deposits found along the river valley
