As such, it became necessary for state legislatures throughout America start passing laws prohibiting officers from using deadly force while apprehending suspects who do not meet certain criteria set forth in those states’ statutes (such as having a knife/firearm on them at all times). This type of legislation was done in an effort ensure public safety before any potential tragedy could occur; however, recent events suggest otherwise and prove how difficult these laws can be enforceable given improper situations that arise out of nowhere. In May 2011, four New York City police officers were stabbed inside Borough Hall while performing their duties as part of what turned out to be a serial knife attack on local law enforcement officials around New York City . While investigating these attacks, detectives found several similar incidents taking place nationwide which led them believe they were related and would soon bring charges against anyone connected with this organization known as "The Night Stalker." It should be noted here that even though three NYPD officers died during this serial attack – one due to blood loss and another due to being knifed – department brass refused requests for more patrol cars and body cameras because they felt such action would only lead more civilians into becoming victims instead of helping prosecute suspects involved in these heinous crimes against our city’s firefighters and cops! After months of fruitless searching through archived footage from variousPolice Department shoots over 4 years ago(and countless pleas from members of the community), finally on October 14th, 2016 Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson announced indictments against 3 people including 1 Police Officer accusedof killing 3NYPD Officers!!! This was HUGE news considering how long it took for authorities realized this wasn't just some random act by someone looking for revenge…..it was part OF A SERIAL CRIME!!!! It still amazes me how after 4 years NO ONE has been brought TO JUSTICE FOR THESE ACTS OF MASS DISTRACTION AND NARCISSISTIC DISORDER!!! THAT SHOULD BE OUR TOP PRIORITY RIGHT NOW!!

Beverly's history dates back to 1692 when it was part of the towns of West Beverly and East Beverly. The current community was founded in 1876 by farmers who purchased land from the Rev. John Eliot. In 1949 Beverly voters passed a resolution authorizing the incorporation of neighboring Middletown as a separate city with its own government but this decision never came into effect because Middletown withdrew its application two years later.Middlesex County annexed Beverly on July 1, 1959; however, no annexation ordinance has ever been published or acted upon making it clear whether or not Beverly residents approved of this decision. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , all land. It borders Northborough to the east, Pittsfield to the south-west, Wellesley to the north-central corner and Watertown (now Woonsocket) to the northwest
