Beverly is a town in Massachusetts, located in the Middlesex County District. The population was 13,782 at the 2010 census. The village of Beverly annexed Beverly proper in 1908. The town was created from part of the larger village of Haverhill on November 3, 1851. The first settler in Beverly was John Sears who arrived July 4th, 1638 and named it Ipswich after his home place Ipswich England. Mr Sears had with him 2 young children under age 10 years old and he also left behind his wife Rebecca (or Quincey) who stayed behind to care for them as best she could. There were other families arriving during this time frame but they did not settle here until later on when more water supplies became available and then finally when land became available for farming north of Boston which allowed many people to move into this area including Beverly's founders. During the Revolutionary War many men from Beverly served in various battles such as Bunker Hill and Saratoga where they lost their lives or were captured and held as prisoners of war until they were exchanged or granted parole later on. Many men from here moved westward to take up arms against Great Britain in the American Revolution making it one of the most fought over states during that time period along with Rhode Island etc.. In 1836–37 a group of settlers led by Reverend Samuel Morse moved into what is now called North Quincy Street near present day Arlington Avenue/High School). This group established a school house, planted trees, built a fence around their property and started developing what would become known as North Quincy Street today’s busy commercial artery running parallel to Route 128 east-west just south of Interstate 95. After Reverend Morse’s death his widow continued to run the schoolhouse until 1840 when it was replaced by an new building which still stands today across Arlington Avenue/High School (the current location where I work). It should be noted that early America wasn’t all about white people living off society while black people continued being enslaved back then so there are quite a few upsets throughout history like this one which happened long before anyone even thought about calling Beverley “the town”! Anyway despite these roadblocks some pioneers managed to make it here nonetheless including Benjamin Banneker who came overland through New England looking for land to purchase back home after experiencing painful difficulties finding any suitable spots within British Columbia; he founded Springfield MA further north eventually becoming United States Senator fromMassachusetts! A latecomer to this community mentioned earlier is Nathan Hale who joined forces with General George Washington during the French & Indian War helping lead Patriot troops against General Forbes's army at Bunker Hill resulting in civilian deaths and $2 million worth of damage done thereby earning Hale's reputation as "One Of The fathers Of The American Revolution" In 1795 he married Hannah More about whom we shall speak morelater on...

However, this increase did not last long; within two years, Beverly had decreased to about 100 people again. By 1870, Beverly had again dwindled in size and disappeared from history altogether.
